The staff were so kind and patient. Evandro was very welcoming...and he makes a mean cocktail! His assistant--my regrets for not finding out her name--was very kind and an excellent cook. Dinners were delicious! The room was a bit odd (see comments below), but made for a "living en plain air" vibe.
My room was rather unprivate: the bathroom was outdoors and, had there been a large group for dinner or drinks, would have been shared by other visitors. (Not what was advertised in the listing.) The room's external exit/entrance was also onto a common walkway, which meant that getting light or air into the room lead to opening the room to anyone who walked by.
