With spectacular views of Deer Harbor and the Olympic Mountains to the south, this Orcas Island cottage is just steps from the water and offers easy access for beach combing. The gentle surrounding waters are perfect for kayaking, and there is a dock available to launch kayaks and canoes at high tide - or just carry them down the path and set off from your private beach.
Marina View is a spacious one-bedroom guest house, with king bed, a fully equipped kitchen and large living area with vaulted ceiling. Both the living area and dining nook offer south and west views of the water. There is also a twin bed in the living room for an additional guest.
Three and a half acres offers ample room for play and there is a large level lawn that is conducive to croquet or badminton. The guest cottage shares the family's vacation compound, but landscaping provides privacy for both parties if the owner should also be in residence.
Marina View is within walking distance of Deer Harbor Marina, a convenience market and post office. It's a great location, within 20 minutes of the ferry landing and the amenities of Eastsound. It is also a wonderful vantage point for Deer Harbor fireworks if you are the lucky ones to book this cottage over the 4th of July!

We absolutely loved our stay at Marina View! So private, so cozy, so comfortable! We had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves, from complimentary coffee to plush towels and bedding. The hot tub was clean and the perfect temp -- at night, views of the stars and during the day, views of the water! Everything about the rental was functional and clean and communication with the host was simple and easy.My favorite thing about our stay was viewing all the wildlife -- herons, geese, and gulls were daily sightings and on the morning of our departure, a young buck sauntered in front of the cabin as if to wish us goodbye. (The pictures in the listing don't quite capture just how exquisite the surrounding beauty of the cabin is.)Would love to return in the near future!!!

Fabulous stay start to finish. Everything looked exactly as the photos and was clean. All amenities needed were there. We were warm, safe, secure, and immediately comfortable. Beach is steps away, there’s a lovely patio off the living room with convenient sliding door, and fire place is so cozy. We were greeted by friendly owners next door but they gave us our privacy throughout the stay. I felt very welcomed and would book here again. They even had a welcome bouquet out for us! We watched the Mariners win a game and played games around the kitchen table. Hot tub in good working condition. We had two small dogs with us and they had a great time too. There is a zip line leash between two trees so it’s very convenient to enjoy the yard with the dogs contained but plenty of space. Such a great stay here.
