Nestled just miles from the towering peaks of Mt. McKinley, our cozy rental is the perfect launchpad for thrill-seekers and nature lovers. Whether you're chasing summit views, hiking remote trails, or exploring Alaska’s wild beauty.
Explore epic ATV trails or ride up to the breathtaking Knik Glacier, a day trip Hatchers Pass to see the beautiful Alpine Tundra, or Ice fishing and snow-machining in the winter months on Big Lake or our abundant groomed trails.
We are offering a nicely decorated 2 bedroom, 1 bath private living space, with a fully equipped kitchen along with your own private laundry. We offer all linens needed for your stay, radiant floor heat and WiFi. Your own private deck and enjoy boating, canoeing, kayaking, all from our private dock. Situated in a No Wake Zone, it’s ideal for a quiet and relaxing experience on the water.
This living space enters/exists onto the ground level, accessing a well-manicured and landscaped yard. Enjoy our lakeside fire pit for your evening enjoyment.
Paddle boat, canoe, swimming, safety gear, grill and fire pit are all offered for your enjoyment. During July and August we have Salmon migrating through our area to their spawning grounds.
Owner has secondary residence upstairs, but spends most of his time at his primary residence located elsewhere.
Just an hour from Anchorage, yet worlds away from the everyday – this is where unforgettable memories can be made.

The property was beautiful and comfortable. Big Lake is gorgeous. There were many things to see and do close. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting.

The premises was a walk out basement that was very nice & spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed. The bedroom was very comfortable, we only used 1 bedroom. There was a washer & dryer which was great as we were living out of our suitcases. if asked if i would stay there again my answer is defiantly yes.

What a wonderful discovery! We were lucky to come across this place at the last minute while traveling for my nephew’s wedding. The property exceeded our expectations — the house was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed for our week-long stay. We all had the chance to enjoy the lake, making it the ideal spot to unwind.Scott was incredibly accommodating throughout our visit. He was a fantastic host, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We’ll absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Alaska!
