The Turtles Nest Oak Island

Nice house in great location. All needed amenities were provided. If heading back to oak island will certainly consider again.

Super week with our adult children. The house was clean and comfortable. Easy check in process and short walk to the beach. Quiet location, but clise to everything in Oak Island.

The house had more than enough space for our family of four (two adults, one early teenage daughter and a second daughter who just reached double digits). Since we were only a foursome, we didn't need or use the bunk bedroom in the back. The house could easily accommodate a larger family or a family with guests, particularly extra kids. We appreciated the open layout of the main room which made it easy to talk to everyone while working in the kitchen. At the same time, the master bedroom and bunk room are nicely tucked away from the main space which offers some private space. The house is in great shape, without any noticeable wear and was spotless for our arrival. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and frequently used spices and staples needed for cooking. The WiFi was fast and reliable and the internet TVs were intuitive and easy.The proximity to the beach was perfect for us and the beach is very wide and spacious.We also appreciated the spacious and fully functional outdoor shower and the Cornhole boards. We didn't get daytime rain, but the stilts provide a nice space for outdoor fun even in the rain. Finally, communication with the owners was top-notch. We greatly appreciated their responsiveness!We only wish we spent a little more vacation time in the nest!! Thank you for a great stay!
