Welcome to Marmalade Mermaid!
For true Southern Living and if only the best will do, this beautiful Island vacation home is for you! Being only one house from the lovely beaches of Anna Maria Island and three houses to Tampa Bay you can enjoy all the ...waterways the Island has to offer! This is a historical cottage that has been totally remodeled for your enjoyment.
Sink into the beautiful sofa, have a superb night's rest in comfortable beds and choose just to laze or sip a cocktail on either the backyard hammock or the wrap around front porch. It has a master bedroom and two well-appointed guest bedrooms.
The master bedroom has a King size bed and two Twin beds with a door to access the back yard.
There is also an ensuite bath with shower only and stackable washer/dryer. The second guest room has a King size bed and ensuite bathroom. The third guest room has a Full-size bed.
The decor is light, beachy, bright and airy, with an open plan living area, gleaming aqua cabinetry and granite counter tops and the quality of the furnishings is evident as soon as you enter through the front door. The house is equipped with all the latest technology including wireless internet access, cable TV, Roku and flat screen TVs in every room. Attention to detail means that every aspect of the house has been carefully considered when it comes to both design, furnishings and fabrics.
Marmalade Mermaid is not even 100 steps to the beach access and the crystal blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico, fringed with seven miles of white sand beach which stretches out in a gentle curve in both directions. Marmalade Mermaid is only three houses from Tampa Bay where you can put in your paddleboards or kayaks easily. This home is near Leffis Key so you can paddle many mangrove lines and see loads of wildlife.
Since this home is a historical cottage, the windows do not open throughout the home.
BED & BATH DETAILS:
King size bed, two Twins in the master bedroom, with flat screen TV, ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower and stackable washer and dryer. Guest bedroom with King size bed, flat screen TV and ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. The third bedroom as a Queen/Full bed with flat screen TV. The guest bathroom has a shower/tub combo.
Dogs up to 25 lbs. will be considered with $150 pet fee per pet. The pet fee does not cover any damage caused by the pet.
EXTERIOR:
Pool and Swim Spa heaters in properties are locked for your safety and controls must not be tampered with as they are monitored by the pool company and temperature is set at 86 F. Water temperatures will be lower during the winter months. Please note if cold days occur, water temperatures will drop and may stay cooler longer. Pool and Spa heaters might not operate and will automatically shut down if outside temperatures get too cold. While we take every precaution to ensure that pool or spa is heated as specified, weather conditions may affect the temperature of the pool. Nothing can be done about this issue. In the event that the pool or spa equipment malfunction during your stay, Duncan Real Estate will expedite repairs as quickly as possible. It may be necessary to close pool for maintenance purposes. No refund or rent adjustment will be made for circumstances beyond our control, malfunctions or loss of use of equipment or amenities.
This property welcomes any day arrival for the months mid-August-January except holiday weeks. Please contact us for approval.

We loved our stay! The location was perfect to hit the beach or walk to Bridge Street. There was actually enough seating in the living room and at the dining table for everyone. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a phenomenal stay at this Vrbo for our family of 8! The home was incredibly spacious, giving everyone plenty of room to relax and enjoy our time together. Everything was exactly as described in the listing, which made planning our trip so easy and stress-free.The location truly could not have been better — right across from the beach and close to everything we needed. The warm pool was a huge bonus and perfect for unwinding after a day in the sun. We also really appreciated the thoughtful amenities. There were plenty of towels for each guest, and having beach chairs, an umbrella, wagon, and toys provided made our beach days effortless and fun.The office was extremely responsive and helpful whenever we had a question, which added to the overall positive experience. While the home is a little dated, we actually found it to be perfect for us. The décor was top-tier, very beachy, and created such a relaxing vacation vibe.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to other families looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable beach getaway!

Such a cute house! The colors, the charm, the proximity to the beach and the little details available for the guest made our stay so fantastic! There’s literally nothing missing. From kitchen utensils to towels and bed sheets. Everything you need they have. The backyard is super chill and relaxing. The porch swing was everyone’s favorite. Just amazing all the way around. I know where I’m staying next time in Anna Maria!

In a nice location. For the most part, a really nice house. They are having some plumbing issues in the back bathroom. Being an older house, it doesn’t stay as cool as it should and you can’t turn the ac down under 75 per their rules. Other than that, the house is beautiful, was pretty clean, and was a nice place to spend our week.
