Snow birds and travelers who want a quiet self contained suite! Our spacious and completely outfitted guest accommodation will feel like home away from home. It's in a prime location within one block of the beach and the main street of the quaint town of Sidney. Our large studio suite contains new quality contemporary furniture and has a good quality sofa bed for one extra person if needed. You will love the new comfortable bed and recliner chair while you watch your 40 inch flat screen TV. The bed area is partitioned off with curtains if desired.

The full kitchen has everything you need but if you don't feel like cooking there are a variety of restaurants and coffee shops a short walk away. The suite has a full bathroom and includes a washer and dryer for your convenience. Our Arts and Crafts home is close to the Sidney-Anacortes ferry terminal, BC Ferries and the Victoria airport. The famous Butchart Gardens is close by and the beautiful city of Victoria is within a short drive or bus ride. You will be welcome to enjoy our small garden patio if you wish, some steps to the suite entrance are required.
You will love this self contained, self catered, private guest suite that is a comfortable vacation home perfect for short or longer stays.

Although there were some cleanliness issues left over from a previous tenant when we first arrived they were quickly solved and Tony was so easy to talk to and open to solutions. We were in Sidney for a family wedding and decided to extend our holiday for a few more days. We were very happy with this choice as it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It is a basement suite however there was lots of light and the cooler space was appreciated during the hot summer days. Our son also joined us for 2 nights and used the sofa hide-a-bed. We'd highly recommend this property to others.

A great spot! The suite is clean, really well equipped and beautifully located near the waterfront and all the shops and cafés of Sidney. Tony and Sandy give you your privacy but are easily reached and happy to help with anything you may need. I'd love to stay again and hope they have space when I'm next in Sidney.

We stayed for five nights. The suite was so comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed - comfy beds, full kitchen, laundry, and a beautiful yard. We were only a couple of blocks from the waterfront and the lovely shops on mainstreet. We had a rental car so we used Sidney as our home base and made day trips to all the different sights we wanted to take in. Also, the airport is only 10 minutes away. Thank you to our hosts, we will stay again!

The house is within walking distance of all of life's necessities: 3 grocery stores, a reasonably priced gym, Starbuck’s, Tim’s, several bookstores, liquor stores, Thrift shops, and buses. We booked this studio suite for a whole month, it was very clean and had everything that we needed, full well equipped Kitchen, very nice bathroom, very comfortable queen bed with great bedding and Towels. There were even bath robes. It is a basement suite so some stairs to go down to get there but separate entrance and private. There was a good parking place for our car on the driveway. Excellent location in the middle of Sidney most places (shopping, restaurants, coffee shops etc.) are within walking distance and only a block an a half to the seaside. Very close to Victoria Airport and only 10 minutes to the ferry terminal. Tony and Sandy were great to deal with and we would definitely go back if we go to Sidney again.

We have now stayed at 5 vrbo-type properties in the Sidney area in the past 4 months, and this was by far the best. It's in downtown Sidney, and within walking distance of the US ferry terminal. Tony is a great host - friendly, helpful and very responsive. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, a full bath, a very comfortable bed, and was honestly great value for money. For our next trip to Sidney, we will contact Tony first and hope we'll be able to stay here again. Even in January, btw, there's lots to do around here - walking, hiking and biking, oh and the choices for cider, beer and wine tasting (Farmer's Daughter or Deep Cove Winery for example) and food (The Chalet or Fickle Fig or Melinda's Biscotti for example) in Sidney are excellent. Sidney itself is a charming little town too, with lots of individual shops and very friendly locals. Can't wait to return!

We were treated very well by Sandy and Tony and we thoroughly enjoyed this central location. It was close to the beach and seashore and to the downtown area. Being only a half hour drive to Victoria downtown was also very convenient. We would certainly come back and stay again.

It was only 20 minutes from my home but felt like I was many miles away on a peaceful vacation. Tony and Sandy are excellent hosts and took good care of me. The suite is an adequate size for two people with a large, well-equipted kitchen, decent living room, and small bedroom area. Two factors to be aware of: noise and location. The house is in the flight path of Victoria International Airport so we never slept later than 6:05 am when the first plane flew over. Also, being in the basement, one is always aware when people are in the room overhead as the sound of voices carries down. We also encountered a "mystery noise" whose origin we never determined. Sounded like a steamroller running repeatedly pver the ceiling of the suite; perhaps furniture being pushed back and forth for hours?? We were going to eat dinner in the kitchen one evening but ended up going out to a restaurant because we couldn't stand the racket above any longer. And as to the location of the suite, I knew it was at the back of the house. But I didn't realize reaching the door meant crunching down a gravel driveway at night in the dark which is not easy for someone awaiting a knee replacement.

Thanks to Tony and Sandy for their wonderful suite, in a great location - just blocks from both the heart of downtown Sidney and the waterfront. It was very clean, comfortable, spacious and inviting. I was travelling on my bicycle, and Tony was very helpful in making sure he had a place to safely store it in his garage. He was also very responsive to email questions before I arrived. Look forward to a return visit, but maybe not in the middle of winter storm season next time :)
