The location of the house is everything,there is no better view from the garden,the sunset is breathtaking,the size of the house is also great.
It’s very dated,stains on carpets and the kitchen sides and table,there’s a smell of damp inside the kitchen cupboards,the beds in the outdoor facilities both have broken slats underneath,the sofas in the living room are very uncomfortable and in need of replacing,the cleaner had left a note that the glass in the oven door may fall off and a few lightbulbs had gone and could we replace them while we were there then take the bulbs home with you ! And only 2 deckchairs ! The owner did offer to have some delivered while we were there but we had took camping chairs,but a property like that should have outdoor furniture we spent all our time outside…oh and the BBQ was filthy so we didn’t use it.

Location was perfect
The sofas in the living room were very very uncomfortable, and well past their best.
I was disappointed and shocked to be told that the house was left in a shocking state for the cleaners or the “team of cleaners”.
We left the house reasonably tidy, beds stripped, bins emptied, refuse all sorted as per instructions. We did not expect to clean the house on departure as there was a considerable cleaning fee paid upfront.

The location was beautiful - views of the Crantock Beach were stunning & being walking distance to the village with its 2 pubs was super convenient.
No towels or outdoor furniture besides 2 deck chairs.
