THE SPACE
Located within the popular neighborhood of Tahquitz River Estates, this 1940’s home developed by renown mid-century architect and engineer Paul Trousdale offers one of the best views in this highly desirable neighborhood on the south side of Palm Springs. This home has plenty of gracious living space both inside and out with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a double sized living room, and a grand dining area with fireplace. Trousdale designed homes are notable for maximizing the views from the front exterior space and this one does not disappoint. The pool, surrounded by beautifully landscaped grounds and poolside fire pit, is situated for amazing views of Mount San Jacinto. Barbeque outside or take advantage of the designer kitchen with updated appliances and amenities.

If you like to grill, then you’ll love the new barbecue. This property features a 5-Burner BBQ Gas Grill with side burner and over 768 square inches of cooking space with a whopping 71,000 BTUs

Parking is easy with plenty of space in the secure carport and private driveway behind a locked gate.

Pool Heating:

In Palm Springs pool heat is not needed in the late spring, summer or early fall. Winter heating of the pool is optional at an additional fee of $150 to pre-heat to approximately 84 degrees plus $79/day to maintain the heat. $550 weekly rate. Advance notice is necessary, as it takes approximately 18 hours to heat the pool.

If you would like to make use of the pool heating option, please let us know in advance and we will send you an adjusted rate at time of booking. Pool heating will not be automatically added to your total amount due, so please be sure to specify your preference.

HOUSE RULES:

Palm Springs has very strict noise restriction ordinances and the City will fine anyone who receives a complaint from neighbors. We want all of our guests to enjoy and relax but we must take these restrictions very seriously and ask you to do the same.

•Palm Springs city ordinance prohibits ALL out-door amplified music or amplified sound of any kind. Significant fines may apply.
•No more than 6 overnight occupants. No additional daytime guests are allowed without prior approval by the owner.
•Only vehicles belonging to the occupants are to be allowed within the perimeter of the property at any time and no more than 4 vehicles allowed on property or along its perimeter at any time.
•No indoor smoking allowed. If you do smoke outside, we ask that you use one of the ashtrays provided.
•No glassware by the pool. You will find the kitchen stocked with pool friendly plastic-ware.
•The responsible party (guest who books) occupying the home must be at least 25 years old and will be responsible for the compliance of all occupants and guests to the House Rules.
•All guests must sign the Statement of Rules and Regulations that will be provided to you upon check-in.

I knew our family would love this property before arriving. As we entered the neighborhood we were greeted with a canopy of trees creating an archway across the street. It really took my breath away as it was so unexpected. More delightful were whimsical street signs, "humps not bumps."We were warmly greeted by Travis, but it was the pool that cinched the deal when we entered the property. It was truly an oasis of comfort, beautiful views and family fun. Entering this historic Trousdale home its uniqueness and creativity of design were in full display. As a family we enjoyed and used every room, although the pool kept us poolside most of the time. Because we loved the living room with its very comfortable seating, sound system and huge TV we decided to have movie nights each evening. With the bar behind us popcorn in front of us and Brandini's famous Palm Springs toffee in our hands we were living our best lives.The floor plan, the gorgeous master bath and an additional master bath along with all the amenities of the home made for a worry-free, comfortable and relaxing stay.The most useful room in the house was the laundry room which was invaluable. it was large and included a washer, dryer, drying rack, toilet, vanity and mirror along with a very long counter which had lots of drawers below. The long counter let us put all our "supplies" out of sight. The room was so big any larger items you may have brought with you are easily stored. I'm out of space. Loved it. Go!

Travis has a very lovely and clean home. Awesome entertainment system. Stocked kitchen. Frankie was a great contact person for suggestiions on places to go or eat. We really had a great time on our first visit to Palm Springs. Very spacious. We will be back.

The moment we stepped inside, we were blown away by the design of the house. The way it seamlessly blended with the pool and outdoor courtyard was simply stunning. We were specifically looking for a mid-century modern home, and this one totally nailed it. The layout was perfect, with plenty of open spaces that allowed our group of six to connect easily. And the best part? The house had everything we needed, making our stay even more comfortable. We loved the convenience of being able to walk to town or go for a hike in the mountains. The property managers were always on hand and super helpful when we had any questions. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Great home! Travis supplied everything necessary for the trip. Shampoo irons blow dryer sun block even cold water bottles. The master was amazing. I loved that there was 2 masters. The beds were SOOOO comfy! Soft sheets. Plenty of towels and washer dryer in case u run out. Close to down town. Plenty of parking space. Pool was clean! Wet bar area was convenient. I loved it, our group would love to come back here next time.
