About this villa rental
Stunning sea and mountain views within walking distance of the beach in a family-friendly location. Bentley Villa has a large pool with two islands, a waterfall, a hot tub, a gym, a cinema room, WIFI, and a massage table.
(POP) airport is a 30-minute drive, and we can book airport transfers.
INCLUDED IN THE PRICE is a team of friendly staff and an on-site chef who will ensure you don’t have to lift a finger during your vacation!
Unlike most rentals, we do not charge additional fees for cleaning, service, etc.

HOW FAR IS THE VILLA FROM THE AIRPORT?
The villa is a 30-minute drive from Puerto Plata airport; transport can be arranged to pick you up with cash paid directly to the driver (as local law will not allow us to transport guests).
SHOULD I RENT A CAR?
We recommend a car rental, as although the villa is within walking distance of the beach, it can get very hot. A rental car is also an excellent idea for exploring the area, as many activities and sites keep you busy during your stay.
HOW FAR IS THE BEACH?
Cofresi Beach is just under ten minutes' walk. It is down a road with a slight slope, so if small children are in your group, we recommend driving, especially when it is sunny and hot! Sun loungers are available to rent on the beach for approximately 100/150 pesos per lounger (equivalent to around $2).
The beach has some great little restaurants and is very peaceful. It is a perfect spot for a morning coffee, afternoon beer, or a relaxing evening meal.
IS FOOD INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL?
Our villa rental does not include food. Several supermarkets are situated in the centre of Puerto Plata and offer a great selection.
We now offer a free transport service to the supermarkets for those arriving during the day. This allows for a stress-free experience so guests can focus on choosing a perfect menu.
We offer a traditional Dominican meal upon arrival for a fee of USD 10 per person.
DO I NEED TO DO ALL OF THE COOKING?
A cook is provided with the booking and is available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. It is customary to prepare the main meal for lunchtime; if you would like to eat a hot meal in the evening, the cook can prepare it for you. Our sample menu features a mixture of American, English, and Dominican cuisine. Vegetarian requirements can also be catered for.
IS THE VILLA FULLY STAFFED?
Bentley Villa has excellent staff who will do their best to ensure you have a relaxing and stress-free vacation. Auris is our friendly, English-speaking villa manager. She has a lovely, hardworking local staff to assist her during your stay. Carlos is our friendly on-site handyman. You will see him outside most days, working hard to ensure the villa is perfect.
Our staff are very professional and discreet. Your rooms will be cleaned daily, and linens will be changed weekly. Please note that we are happy to wash clothes and personal items only for guests staying one week or more.
Bathrooms are supplied with towels, washcloths, soaps, toilet paper, and a hair dryer if needed.
DO YOU HAVE WIFI?
We now have WiFi throughout the villa.
We also have a Bluetooth speaker in the main living area. Please feel free to use it whether you want to boogie in the living room or just relax by the pool.
ARE THE BEDROOMS EN-SUITE?
All the bedrooms have ceiling fans, air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms.
IS THERE ANY SECURITY?
Our night watchman, Santiago, arrives every evening and guards the premises. We also have security cameras at the front of the villa for extra safety. There is a safe in the main bedroom on the ground floor if you need to lock up any valuables. We ask that you lock all windows and doors while away from the villa and at night, as you would in your own home.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?
Children are always welcome! The villa has an indoor and outdoor staircase leading to the pool area and gym, so please bear this in mind when booking with small children. If you need a cot or crib, please message us in advance.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather! Bentley has a cinema room and hot tub, unlike the other villas in Puerto Plata. The cinema has a variety of films, and it is the perfect time to try out the popcorn machine!
We have a massage table used by our amazingly talented masseuse, Raquel. She also does fantastic manicures and pedicures. Auris can show you her treatment/price list and book a time for her to visit the villa that is convenient for you.
CAN I BRING BACK A GUEST/VISITOR?
We have a strict visitor policy. Only those whose names are on the booking are allowed on the premises. This is for the safety of our guests and staff. Our night watchman, Santiago, will ensure unauthorised guests cannot access the villa.
CAN WE USE BENTLEY VILLA FOR AN EVENT/PHOTOSHOOT/FILMING LOCATION?
Bentley Villa can be used for photoshoots, filming and special events. Please message us for a quote with details of your brief.
DO I NEED TO LEAVE A TIP?
As in Canada and the USA, leaving a 10% tip (of the booking total) at the end of your stay is customary. The amount you tip is discretionary, and for excellent service, but please remember the staff work hard to ensure you have a perfect holiday :)
GUEST ACCESS
Guests can access the entire villa except the staff room through the kitchen, which is solely for staff use.

What a fantastic villa to share with friends or family! We had a small group of salon & spa owners come together, for teaching, training and tanning at this beautiful villa. Santa is a lovely property manager, and along with Carlos, Judy and our chefs created a truly wonderful experience for us.Locally sourced food was prepared fresh daily with a lovely breakfast and dinner ready to go when we chose to enjoy it.Bedrooms were air-conditioned each with their own en suite, and there was plenty of communal space inside & out to enjoy together.PS. A steep walk through the back roads will lead you in about 10 minutes to a lovely little beach, with cheap beer, restaurants, and lots of local culture.

Our stay at the villa was incredible! The staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the food was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect setting for our celebration—highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Positives:The villa had 7 lovely and large bdrms & bathrooms, more than adequate for our party of 13. There was a baby basinet, which we were pleased with due to the 6 month old in our party The host was friendly, spoke English and other staff was accommodating. The food was great. The AC worked very well.Negatives: The hot tub never got hot or anywhere close to very warm.This place is not steps from the beach and it's located on top of a steep hill and on terrain not comfortable for travel to and from the beach by foot or using golf carts.The refrigerator temp wasn't cold enough, for example our ice cream & bag or ice melted.The kitchen wasnt stocked with paper towels.Bathrooms were inadequately stocked with paper towels and face towels.The host was sometimes in the way, interjecting when she should have been quietly observing.Most of the pool floation resources were dirty or defective/deflated.
