About this apartment rental
Rates are for 2 persons with a $10/night/person for a 3rd or 4th person. Everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable is provided in this one-bedroom, ground-level condominium in Kihei Kai Nani in sunny Kihei on the island of Maui. The condo complex is not pet-friendly and smoking is restricted to two areas on the property. This is a privately owned property (not a timeshare) where the owner resides for periodic vacations. Because we do not use a rental agency we are able to offer discounted rates to our guests. Our condo is Kihei Kai Nani #133 in building 12 across the drive from the swimming pool.
We take pride in maintaining a clean, comfortable and affordably priced property with a king-size bed and queen sofa bed (two adults and 1 or 2 children recommended.) We ask that guests please observe the no-smoking policy. Laundry facilities are conveniently located next to our large swimming pool. The condo has AC in the living area and bedroom. We have ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom.
Kihei Kai Nani Vacation Resort is located directly across from Kamaole Beach II, one of the world-renowned Kamaole Beaches. You can walk from one beach to the next all the way to Wailea on some of the softest sand to be found anywhere! Kam II is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, standup paddleboarding, and tide pooling with lifeguards on duty-- a great beach for children and adults. Several restaurants, grocery stores, and shops are within walking distance as well as activity info and equipment rentals. World-class golf courses, shops, restaurants, and resorts are just minutes south in Wailea and Makena.
Kihei is approximately 12 miles from the Kahului Airport, on the drier, sunny side of the island. We use Kihei Rent-A-Car for auto reservations. If you ask they can offer older Nissan models etc for lower rates (800-251-5288). For those who choose not to rent a car, there is Speedie Shuttle Airport Service (808-242-7777) at $47 for 2 people and Island bus service.

This was a great place to stay! The location could not be beat. There were great restaurants within walking distance, three grocery stores within a few miles, it was an easy drive to anything along the coastline, and of course a beautiful beach across the street with three other beach parks within walking distance. The condo was well stalked with anything we could need. There were two of us and the condo was a perfect size for us, but it would be good for a group of four also, especially if you are spending most of your time out enjoying the island. The property was well kept and had good facilities for laundry and other needs and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, Beach and places to eat nearby. Natural Breezes keep the condo comfortable although air conditioning is available. Shower is nice, bed is firm. Good communication from owner. Laundry next to the pool nearby allowing for a dip or relaxation while doing laundry. Quiet complex. Beach chairs and snorkle equipment on site. Enjoyed the stay.

My husband and myself stayed here at Kihei Kai Nani Complex.
I take reviews very seriously, as I am a owner,operator of 2 vacation rentals also.
This complex is built in the seventies, the grounds, and pool,laundary are very well maintained.The pool has great loungers ,table and chairs under a shaded area, the only negative is it is in the parking lot.We never had any problems with this in general.On one occasion someone started his car and returned to his suite ,leaving his fuel fumes to choke us out.
The location is fantastic, a bar (pub) next door, deli,mexican restaurant,etc.
On the other side is a small stripe mall with everything you need from snorkelling gear,resturants,and food.
As we are smokers it would be nice if they could have made a nice area for us to smoke inland not the designated smoking area, in the front of the entrance parking lot/driveway.
The beach is right across the street, beautiful sunsets, and I never found it to be to crowded.(March2019).The turtles pulled up everyday for a little suntan.
Our suite was very dated, other then new carpet in the living room,I'd say it is all original .Bring indoor shoes as the tiles have no seal left on them and they are very sticky.I had white pants on one day, and after sitting on the couch had to change them as they got dirty,Im thinking, to many people sitting on it with sunscreen.Nothing a sheet thrown over can't fix.
The back deck was a little disappointing as it gets no sun, so its mossy and mildewy.This is also the pathway to the BBQ for 20 other units so you have a lot of traffic walking by, not very private.
The bed was awesome, very comfy.
This unit is filled with everything you need, very well stocked.Just remember to check everything before you haul it to the beach, we took a broken mask and chair on our first day trip.
I would highly recommend this complex and would stay there myself again.
I would not stay in this unit, unless they put a little TLC. into it.
I believe a little constructive criticism, can only help us improve.
