We provide Fiber Internet , T.V., DVD, an outdoor grill, fire pit, and picnic table. Fly fishing, hunting, hiking, skiing, star gazing @ Cherry Springs State Park , geo-caching. Direct snowmobiling and atv riding from the Lodge. Numerous state parks and the PA Grand Canyon with 30 minutes drive. Fly fishing only streams (Little Kettle) 15 minutes away. PA Wild Areas are a short drive.

We very much enjoyed our stay. It’s a nice cabin. However, there were a few safety concerns: the hand rail for the stairway has a board under the rail which makes it impossible to grip. There is essentially no rail to hold. Removing that board is recommended. Also, the observation deck was probably pretty nice 25 years ago but it is no longer safe. The railing is completely shot and I’m not sure what is holding up the back landing on the stairway. There is no post! It is sagging and at some point will fall off the building. I recommend closing the observation deck until repairs are made before someone gets hurt. By the way, I’m a contractor and build structures and decks for a living.

Came to this cabin to look at the stars at Cherry Springs. The place was nice and roomy very clean with amazing views

The pictures of the property do not do it justice. The house inside is so much more spacious than it looks and the property is very spacious and the view is amazing. It is so quiet and dark at night. Great for sky viewing and quiet time away from city noise.
