Perfect for 2 people, even better for solo retreat.

Our fourth time staying there.

We enjoyed our stay on the island. This property provided everything we needed for our stay.

We have stayed at this cabin before and absolutely love it! There were some upgrades this time that were nice additions. Especially the ac unit! :) But it's the water access that is the draw for us. We will definitely be back!

We loved this adorable beach house! Great vibe, super view right smack on the water, ease of loading/unloading was a huge plus, everything imaginable was available to us in the cupboards. Hardly any road noise at all and we slept like babies. A fabulous stay!!!

Pictures and information about the Beach House was spot on. Everything we could possibly need was provided. Great location to Seattle and Tacoma by Ferry. Would stay again.

The house and property were so amazing. Our stay was very peaceful. We got to experience a lot of wild life and fresh air.

This cute little house was perfect for a solo retreat, and would be great for couples too. What I really loved was the attention to detail at this house. The owner has really thought of everything you might need, there was even a basket of ear plugs on the nightstand. (Not necessary this trip, but handy if the hubby is with me!) The location is magical, when the tide comes in it feels like you’re on a boat. I got daily visits from a blue heron, two seals, and seagulls, and was even treated to a bald eagle flying by, and a deer eating seaweed in front of the house. I wasn’t a fan of how close the road is and the traffic noise, but felt that both the charm of the home and the reasonable price point offset that annoyance. I would definitely stay here again!

This is the perfect place to cuddle up with books and games or get out onto the water with a paddle board or kayak. The house is well equipped and we always enjoy our time here. We will visit again.

We visited family on Vashon Island for Thanksgiving and stayed in this lovely beach cottage over the holiday weekend. Convenient location, very comfortable and clean. We loved waking up to a view of the bay and seeing the lights reflecting on the water at night. We'd stay here again! Highly recommended.

Location, location, location. Everything you need to be comfortable and enjoy the tides of Burton beach and its varied wildlife. Plus amazing views of sky and water over Quartermaster Harbor with Mt Rainier and Tacoma in the distance.

This fabulous little cottage on the water was everything we hoped it would be. A beautiful location, an amazing outdoor space right on the water. The house has everything you could need on this little island getaway. The house is close to the road but when are snuggled in a chair looking out over the water with a cocktail it all fades away. The perfect getaway for us.

Just right for our family of 3. Walking distance to some lovely shops and a spa, although on a blind curve. Lots of beach combing with the low tide. Relaxing little deck/porch.

Very small but wonderful cabin on the water. Would definitely stay again!

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed and I have traveled a lot. The location was magical and the house was so nice. It was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to make our stay wonderful. We didn’t want to leave!! There were sand dollars and shells on the beach, and seals in the harbor swimming by! It was quiet and so special. We saw deer and their babies on the side road and crabs on the beach.

Everything about this house was perfect. It felt like you were on top of the water. The house itself felt like home.

This place is amazing, it has absolutely everything you could need and is right on the water/beach. They have thought of every possible detail. After seeing it, 2 family members booked a week each for next year

Wonderful Grandma respite!!!

We miss it already and barely have returned! What a precious cabin on Vashon, right on the water. We had a magical stay here. Cabin was clean, well appointed with everything you would need, especially spices galore. Bed was comfortable and plenty of fun seating out on deck. We could not have been happier with this little gem on the darling Island. Eating at Bramble house, kayaking and shopping in cute town were for sure highlights too!! Thank you again and we will book again soon hopefully!

Allyson's property was beautiful and made our stay wonderful. It was the perfect fit for us. The home was cozy, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. It was central to our destinations on Vashon and we could not have found a better place. I recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable stay.

Extremely cozy cottage on the Sound! We couldn’t have been happier. Allyson made the experience “ user-friendly” and we would be thrilled to come back some day. Great price! 5 stars!

One note: in the event of an historic, unprecedented heat wave, this place will not stay cool in the afternoon as configured. With the climate warming, this place, like many others in the PNW, will need a more robust cooling system in the not-to-distant future. This beach house worked great for us and our two teenage kids. Sofa bed is relatively comfy, as is the queen bed. The view out the many south-facing windows is delightful and the open layout, while lacking privacy other than the bathroom, feels spacious and efficient. Well-appointed kitchen with full size fridge and range and pretty much any tool you need. The washer and dryer were a very nice touch and much appreciated. Location a little far from most of the things the island offers if trying to get around by foot but there are some places nearby including a market and coffee stand that are walkable. Access to rest of island by car is pretty straightforward. A couple of e-bikes would work wonderfully. However, there is plenty to keep you at the beach house, including a well-functioning gas grill, plenty of chairs and a fire pit, rafts for floating in the harbor, and the intrigue of the cycle of the tides and watching people on their boats. We enjoyed spotting seals, floating on inflatable rafts, and sitting on the steps with our feet directly in the water on a sweltering evening. Check in and checkout were hassle-free. Place was clean and orderly. The property itself felt pretty private in spite of location on main road. I can see why this is a beloved family property. We would have done better with some kayaks or stand up paddle boards as the house would be a perfect jumping off point for many ad hoc aquatic adventures. We may even stay here again, though maybe without the kids next time. Definitely recommended if looking for an affordable place on Vashon perfect for a couple or small family, especially if you plan to take advantage of the direct harbor access. Five stars!

Simple, clean, well appointed cottage right on the water. The location is a short walk to a general market and a 6 minute drive to the main village area of coffee shops, restaurants, hardware and grocery store. Had a terrific visit to Vashon.

We love this beach house and visit every year. The decor is super cute and fits our family of 3 perfectly. Allyson is very easy to work with and always available if needed.

My Husband and I booked this as a one year wedding anniversary trip getaway, it was the perfect spot on the water to relax. Sadly it rained most of the time we were there, but I absolutely loved being on the water, and watching the different wildlife in the ocean from the dock! We saw herons, seals, crabs and more. This property is well stocked. Everything anyone needs. It may not be a lot of square footage but it feels very spacey
