Great place to stay in Chamonix

Disappointing facilities
Comfortable living area for 4 people, with 2 double rooms and one landing area with 3 beds, 2 bathrooms, can sleep up to 7 but the living area would be too small for 7 .it's a good size for 1 large family. Only 100 m walk to the Prarion cable car.
There was no WiFi available. On arrival, the wood burner had a sign on in saying it was out of action.....( having a fire in Winter was the reason we chose this place).. One electric radiator also didn't work. The main oven also doesn't work properly, ( it doesn't reach temperature) and there is no microwave so cookiing with only a small oven was difficult for 4-5 people. On arrival the fridge was mouldy and also the coffee machine (coffee left in it) which we had to clean. The skiing in Les Houches is not snow sure- we drove to Courmayeur in Italy to get decent snow.

Superb
Location was excellent to the Prarion Lift and the child nursery. The space was good and the beds were comfortable. The views were amazing! It is good value!
The kitchen needs refreshing and reorganising. The plates and cups were chipped and cracked and nothing really matched, some 250ml sized drinking glasses would have been helpful. A microwave would be useful and instructions how to turn on the oven, it is the clock button. The hot plate does not work very well.

Despite some hiccups I would have no hesitation staying at this property again.
The property was spotlessly clean, with almost every conceivable kitchen utensil available. Plenty of room with additional fold up beds and lots of extra blankets and pillows. Located near a small park with playground and tennis courts. Lovely seating area out front with barbecue facilities. Magnificent mountain view right outside the front door. Within short walking distance of cable car and small shops.
It was not clear where we were allowed to park our car. Apparently there is no parking allowed in the car park immediately outside the property which is strange. Our car was locked within the property with no facility, with this property, to lift the barrier. Our neighbours had a remote control for the barrier.There is however ample parking on the road outside the property. Attempts to contact local agents through telephone numbers provided proved quite difficult however they were helpful when contact was eventually made. The underside of the stair steps are at head height in the kitchen and are a hazard. It would take a small fix to remedy this.

Functioneel appartement voor een paar dagen.
Het appartement ligt rustig, heeft voldoende slaapplekken en had een wasmachine, die we nodig hadden na het lopen van de TMB.
Het is wel wat vergane glorie en mag voor deze prijs wel een opknapbeurt hebben.
