About this house rental
This gracious secluded designer post and beam home is nestled on eight acres in the town of High Falls, NY. Approximately 1.5 hours drive from NYC. It's ideal for families, romantic getaways, girls weekends and pets are allowed (w/ prior approval). Everything is detailed exclusively for you including the finest all cotton percale sheets some from Italy. Secluded and airy, this home has breathtaking pastoral views. This country retreat neighbors a 100 acre organic Angus cow farm. We have large common areas and a spacious gourmet kitchen.
Enjoy the heated salt water pool, Ping Pong Table, nearby fairs, farm to table gourmet restaurants, apple and berry picking, wineries, Mohonk Mountain House, hiking, climbing, golfing and canoeing. The property has eight acres ... four acres of open flat mowed lawn and four acres of lush woods. This 4000 sq ft home flows with five bedrooms and three bathroom, living room, dining room eat in kitchen and a large finished basement with regulation ping pong table and top of the line Elliptical Octane 47 xii exercise machine.
The backyard contains grilling, fire pit, sitting area, salt water based pool which opens Memorial Day and closes the end of September.
The house was built with a grand open feel in mind. There is a huge bedroom downstairs that has a king bed and a full size loft with a twin bed. The second bedroom is the master located upstairs with a king bed, handmade Shifman mattress and en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi, double shower and two sinks.
Additionally it has a breakfast terrace that faces the back expanding views. There is an additional full bath upstairs along with three more bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed with a single loft. There is a bunk bed in one room and a queen in another upstairs bedroom. There is a separate den that has an L shaped sofa and a queen pullout sofa in the living room. No detail was left behind in this gracious home.
Dogs allowed only with prior approval.

Leslie’s home is a wonderful property and an excellent place to stay. The house feels larger than the photos suggest, with higher ceilings that create a very open and comfortable atmosphere. The kitchen is very well stocked, and the home was exceptionally clean, with quality soaps and shampoos provided. We especially enjoyed the fenced backyard and the view of cows on the neighboring farm, which added to the charm. We visited during a snowstorm, and the setting truly felt like a winter wonderland. The location is convenient, with a short drive to the grocery store and attractions in nearby towns. Leslie was very responsive to every attempt to communicate. We would strongly recommend this property.

This is our fifth year in a row that we have rented this lovely home for an early Christmas. It’s great for our kids and grandkids. Plenty of room to spread out and a wonderful “gathering”kitchen. The owner communicates terrifically and the house is spotless. And such a gorgeous setting! We look forward to our sixth visit next year!

Our family of 5 had the most wonderful stay. This pristine home is incredibly spacious with a kitchen and living area that is ideal for folks to cook, read, and spend time. The property is so lovely and peaceful....we made acquaintances with the neighboring cows. We also golfed, hiked and explored the beautiful surrounding woods. Highly recommend this very lovely getaway!

Another couple joined my wife and I on this lockdown getaway. We worked everyday, and cooked every night. We hired a limo on the last full day (a Friday) and visited wineries and a distillery all while remaining properly socially distanced.The fall is a gorgeous time to visit. The owners could not have been more friendly and responsive. An ample wood supply, and a comfy fire pit area outside made the stay all the more enjoyable. Internet wifi was strong and solid the entire time. The kitchen works beautifully. Gourmands will be overjoyed. We baked bread, apple pie and fresh dinner rolls to accompany our meals. You would be hard pressed to do any better, so choose this property with confidence.Thank you again Leslie for a great experience.Eric Wiener
