This ‘Happy Place’ is an attractive Gulf Coast beachfront 3 bedroom, 3 bath plus bunks unit that sleeps 8 comfortably. It is located at 590 Santa Rosa Blvd. unit #517 on the white sandy beaches of Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This condo will inspire you to enjoy family and/or friends as you unwind and have fun making memories. Two bedrooms have TVs and the kitchen is sufficiently stocked with small appliances, pots & pans and dishes for your convenience. From the balcony you can witness a spectacular sunrise and sunset, dolphins bobbing in the waves and pelicans wind surfing in precision.
Easy entrance to an extra-large pool invites you to lounge, swim or sunbathe. The boardwalk provides direct access to the majestic,white sandy beach for you to enjoy the beautiful sea & sun under a provided umbrella & 2 chairs. The ebb & flow of the Gulf will urge you to jump waves, build sandcastles or maybe rent a kayak or paddle board. And, you do not have to cross any street to access the beach!
The location of Waters Edge #517 is convenient to grocery stores, retail outlets, restaurants, golf, charter fishing, jet-ski & pontoon rental and various entertainment venues along the Emerald Coast. The parking garage is covered at Waters Edge. Grills are located on the ground level for your pleasure; and, a small fitness room is available.

About WEC#517:
WEC #517 is a 3 bedroom/3 bath plus bunks unit. The Master with balcony access has a King bed with a spacious bathroom, his/her lavatories, large tub and walk-in shower. One guest room has a King bed and one bedroom has bunks with a full on the bottom and twin on top, one of which has en-suite. Two bedrooms have TVs. The bunk beds are accessible in the hallway. The bedrooms are private and every bed in the condo tempts guests to take a siesta.

All bathrooms are equipped with comfortable height toilets and vanities. Very nice improvements!!!!
The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless appliances and many small appliances such as blender, Keurig, drip coffee maker, griddle, slow cooker, etc. There are cups, glasses, dishes, flatware, pots & pans in the WE #517 kitchen creating a great place to feed the memory makers. The stack washer/dryer is also convenient.
The dining room table will seat 6 with three barstools at the counter. If you are looking for a game, video, deck of cards or beach book, check in the cabinet near the table. The living area has 2 sofas, and chair with another large "Smart" TV. As you relax in WE #517 you are still able to view the Gulf.
The balcony beckons guests to observe spectacular dawn or dusk while listening to the rhythm of the waves. There are chairs for you to perch on and small tables for your mug or beverage. Occasionally you will be witness to a beachfront wedding if you keep watch!
WEC #517 is Owner-Managed so you will deal directly with the Owner from the time of the booking throughout your stay. The Owner purchased WEC #517 in 2018, after having vacationed at this location over 10 years with family and friends. Get away time is important to everyone to schedule so the Owner wants WEC #517 guests to feel welcomed and at home while in the condo. The unit has been painted, updated and clean for your family and friends. The Owner spends time in WEC #517 too, so the property is well maintained and it is a ‘Happy Place!’

March-November there are complimentary umbrella & 2 chairs provided with your rental; and, paddle boards & kayaks you can rent at the end of the Boardwalk. Several amenities are in the WEC #517 condo closet for your use ~ ice chest, umbrella, few toys, beach chairs. Once you get set up in the white sands, you will want to stay just be sure to apply sunscreen!
WEC #517 is a spacious unit that can be easily booked based on availability. Prices are available upon request and the Owner Managed WEC #517 property provides you to schedule and book your time at a savings if you compare. You will deal directly with the Owner Manager from booking throughout your stay.

How to book WEC #517:
The WEC #517 Owner invites you to call or email to check availability and prices or any questions you may have as you plan your vacation. There are seasonal price changes: October-May and June-September; and the week of July 4th. Saturday-Saturday rentals from May 1-October 31. Once you have gotten all your questions answered and are ready to schedule & book at WEC #517. Insurance is available if you think there is a possibility you may have to cancel.
With your reservation there will be a Vehicle Parking Tag provided that must be displayed visibly for Security purposes while staying at Waters Edge. Each rental is limited to 2 vehicles.

Me and my husband brought our three kids to the beach along with two sets of grandparents. We had a great setup with the bunks in the hallway. All sleeping arrangements and everything was great. Not much pantry space for your own groceries. While the owner did let us know she had some groceries in the fridge already(labeled as well) it was difficult to load fridge with our own for 8 people. The fridge doors were full. Not a lot of pantry space either but we made do, and completely fine. Full/queen bedroom does not have a lot of storage for luggage,no dresser. So function of some storage spaces in the unit was a little difficult, but we worked around and our family had a fantastic stay. We had a great view from our balcony, and so easy to get to the pool, beach, and parking garage. We cooked in a couple nights, and the unit had all the things needed in the kitchen. Air fryer, large skillet, mixing bowls, crockpot, utensils, coffee bar. In that aspect, it was a very functional cooking space. Thank you for allowing us to check in a little early! The kids so appreciated that. We also caught a small baby shark while doing some morning fishing on the beach! Highlight of one of our son’s vacation.

Owner was very responsive with questions. Logistics like check-in were easy. Condo was clean and well stocked including beach chairs/toys, pool noodles, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, and cookware though no pot for a shrimp boil FYI. No biggie, we brought one. Beds were comfy.The location is great for relaxing: quick drive to dining or the pier but far enough from those things to get some quiet on the beach. Pool was nice, and of course Okaloosa Island beaches are wonderful.
