Two Bedrooms, One & 1/2 Bath - On The Beach!

Great room sizes and kitchen. Ease of access to beach was great. Difficult check in and getting fobs but other than that no issues. Would recommend to others. Would have been nice to have soaps and such in the bathrooms but not a dealbreaker.

The process of renting the property was excellent. Trying to drop off parking pass was a nightmare. Extremely long long lines, people arguing and very upset. We finally just slid it through the window and told them to keep the deposit. We could not miss our flight.

This apartment is all about location, which is not a bad thing. The pool is nice and the beach access is easy. The cafe downstairs is a major bonus — coffee was so good. The building’s staff were incredibly helpful and so friendly and they made our check-in and check-out process as smooth as possible by giving us plenty of information and managing expectations about how long lines would be to check out, etc. The condo itself is bare boned and a bit soulless but clean enough and enough toilet paper and paper towels to get you to a grocery run. We had one sheet pan to heat/cook things on and it was still covered in grease from the last person’s stay. Check in was a struggle because of communication with the person I believe was the owner although I’m still unsure. The lister on VRBO is someone named Maria and a few days before we were supposed to arrive, I received a very scam-type looking text message from someone named Angelica claiming to want to know information about our stay. VRBO warns to only message over their app and this was not in the app, and the host claimed a different name than our lister, so I questioned how they got the number and who they were because the host listed on our booking was Maria. I never got a response from the number and assumed I was right about it being a scam. A day before check in, I began messaging Maria on the VRBO app, asking for information about checking in and updating the host with our arrival. I never got a response on the app, so when we arrived to check in, I explained what was going on to the person working behind the desk. She helped me immensely and suddenly I received information from the scam text message number with another message that said “next time, message me back”. I replied that I had messaged her back but gotten no response. After that, we went up to use the door code she had given me and struggled to punch in the numbers because the numbers on the door buttons were worn off. I tried to call her and text her to get some insight on how to work the door and received no answer and no response. She still hasn’t responded. I also had to manage to do all of this with a six month old who had been in the car all day. The location was great, the building staff was very (VERY) helpful and the communication with whoever is in charge of the listing was horrible. I’m glad nothing major went wrong but it’s a comfort knowing the building’s staff would have been there to help.
