LA CARRETERIE - Maison de Famille{s}

An absolute gem of a place with everything you could want on site. We were on a cycling holiday and this place was near to our route. Room was beautiful although there isn’t air conditioning but our room was in the attic and was reasonably cool and we had the benefit of a fan. Lovely shower and comfortable big bed. The pool was lovely as were the grounds and the breakfast was top notch. Thierry the owner could not do enough for us and even went to pick up some take away pizzas for us. Overall you cannot fault this hotel for value for money and service.

A quiet countryside escape, with a beautiful room, a wonderful host, and easy access to the village. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was as perfect. The birds chirping, the perfume of roses, and the quiet of the countryside., combined with a traditional French breakfast and a kind, knowledgeable host, Thierry, all led to a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended.

Beautifully presented and the host was only too willing to please. Fresh croissants and pastries, natural yoghurts decanted into little sealed mason jars, juice, coffee, preserves and honey, fresh fruit, coffee and tea, charcuterie and cheese if you want. All baked goods were freshly bought earlier that day from a local boulangerie - we have not had that at any other country property we stayed at before.

Nothing! The owner Terry is the most wonderful host, very thoughtful, attentive, and kind. He has thought of everything to make a stay comfortable and enjoyable. A beautiful property created with care and detail.

Thierry was a friendly and helpful host. Lovely room with quality fittings. Great location which with the garden was perfect for our dog. Delicious breakfast.
