La Carreterie has french rustic charm, is set in lovely grounds with beautiful trees and has a pool which was perfect for us to take a dip in as it was very hot when we were there.
The breakfast was very very nice and Thierry, the owner, was simply the best host, he was so helpful and gave us a lift into town several times, a really nice guy! We got a lot of use out of the two bikes that are free to use at the property.
Thank you to Thierry for being the most wonderful host and making our stay so enjoyable.

Exceptional host..customer service was fantastic
Nothing except it was very hot as visited during very high temperatures so air conditioning would have been wonderful!

It was located in a more rural location. Plenty of outside space to explore and the swimming pool was a great size and well kept.
Our room was delightful, we didn’t get out onto the lovely terrace as it was too hot but we appreciated its presence.
The host was one of the best…efficient yet casual. Made sure we knew where everything was and what the “ rules” were…especially loved the honesty box with cold drinks etc available.
The breakfast was perfect.
Not the property’s fault but our GPS insisted on taking us to a different numbered property on the same road. Not sure how this can be resolved.
