Nestled along the shores of Lake Wallenpaupack, this unique property features two charming cottages rented together as one perfect package for large families, reunions, or group getaways. The Cottages
Each cottage is a mirror image of the other, offering:

3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms per cottage

Full kitchens, living rooms, and dining areas

Laundry facilities in both homes

Air conditioning in all bedrooms and living rooms

High-speed WiFi and Roku TVs (no cable)

Sleeping arrangements include:

4 Queen beds

6 Twin beds

4 flip-out gaming chairs with sleeping bags (perfect for kids)

Air mattresses available for flexible sleeping options

The kitchens are fully equipped to handle group meals, and a large Weber BBQ grill sits conveniently between the two cottages for easy outdoor cooking. Step out of one kitchen and into the other—it’s that close!

Outdoor Living & Lake Views
All bedrooms are located upstairs, each with its own private exterior entrance. The queen bedrooms open onto covered second-floor decks, ideal for sipping morning coffee while the lake wakes up.

GUEST ACCESS
Access to the property is contactless by keypads. Our Digital Welcome Guide is a complete guide to your arrival, stay and departure for your rental home. The Welcome Guide is sent when the required forms and information is received.
Guests have access to the whole house.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE - BOOKING REQUIREMENTS
75% of guests need to be 30 or older with an exception for children traveling with their parents. The remaining 25%, will need to be 25 and over.
This property is for families and respectful guests; it is not a party property. All bookings are required to sign a short-term lease after the booking has been accepted to satisfy township requirements.

WHO WE ARE
This property is managed by a local real estate agent. Property Owners rely on our team to book and manage their home for you and to make sure your rental needs are met. To make sure each property is well maintained, each reservation will require a rental agreement to be signed. The Rental Agreement is posted on this site and is available for review at check out. In addition to the Rental Agreement posted on VRBO, you will receive a Reservation Form that is required to be completed within 48 hours of receipt.
Our communities are also governed by township Rental Ordinances which impose certain rules and regulations for owners.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Our rental management includes 24-hour emergency response for any issues that arise. The owner occasionally occupies the house next door and can also assist in any way if needed while you are there.

Parking is best for 6 cars. If parked strategically you can fit 2 more or two boat trailers.

Day Guests are limited by the amount of parking available. If you have space available, day guests can equal 35 total people or 15 people over the 20 allotted for the overnight guests.

LAKE INFO **Lake access is difficult for mobility challenged persons** Although the back yard is flat and easy to navigate, once you head down to the dock there are steps leading down that will end on top of large boulders that you then step down onto either the dock in the early season or down onto the lakebed later in the season when water levels are down. Either way, caution is needed when heading down to the docks.

Swimming and/or Floating is encouraged. Water is great for swimming and water levels are always high enough for a boat to be docked.
Rocky Shoreline access – lake level fluctuates depending on the season.
Spring – Lake levels will be high. The docks do not start getting installed until late April. We do not GUARANTEE any dock in the water before Memorial Day.
Summer – High Water Mark is June 1st. Depending on the weather, the lake levels may come up higher than that making the docks hard to access as their walkways will be underwater. We do our best to make sure they are accessible, but we cannot always get to them on demand.
Fall – Water levels will be lowest, and docks will start to be removed from the lake until the spring. Boats can still be docked, water levels at the end of the docks are still acceptable for boat docking.
Winter – Lake usually freezes, and ice fishing is popular. Any access to the frozen lake is “at your own risk”.

HOUSE RULES
No Smoking inside – smoking outside only. Must not leave any butts and ashes behind
NO FIREWORKS or discharging of any firearm is not permitted. Includes BB, air, pellet, paint guns.
Quiet time 11pm – 8am – this is a family-oriented neighborhood, no late-night parties allowed. Voices carry at night when it’s quiet. If you are out late at the firepit or on the deck, please keep noise to a minimum.

Check in was easy. Between the 2 houses there was everything we needed for meal prep except we found only one cutting board and floppy spatulas! We loved having the 2 docks. Easier access between the 2 houses would make it more convenient. The lawn was fun for games and the fire pit was enjoyed by all. Our family had a throughly delightful time.

Property was perfect for our family and our friends. We had our own houses but were so close to spend time together! Swam in the lake, our favorite vacation activity! Will definitely be back!!!

We enjoyed the roominess of the homes which allowed us to spread out yet to stay close. The upper porches were a draw on the hot afternoons.The campfire site is perfect! The docks gave our swimmers lots of jumping off points and we loved the bedroom spaces where we had versatility for cousins who wanted to have quiet places to play. The bathrooms are small and the only drawback, but we were adaptable.

This property was wonderful. The homes were clean and comfortable. The view overlooking the lake was beautiful. Most of our time was spent outdoors enjoying the yard and docks. We brought our jet skis which we were able to dock at the houses (on the special jet ski dock). We were a group of 14 and had plenty of space. I'd definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to have a relaxing vacation with a large group.
