Definitely worth considering in Petropolis.

Clean. Comfortable. Good breakfast. Good shower, comfy bed. Central location.

A beautiful period house very well maintained which explains the price being charged

The house is beautiful, the location is great and the breakfast is amazing (huge praise to the breakfast staff!). The rooms are very clean. The staff are very cordial.

The pool was a bit dirty (surprisingly, as I saw other reviews complaining about that but I guess they still didn’t take action in this regard) and we were never informed that one of the pools is heated, which I leaned in the last day before my check out. I would probably have used it with my baby if I was aware of it (when I mentioned in the front desk that I was never informed they said this information is available on booking.com - Well, if it is, I never saw it, and, still, I believe they should inform guest as I booked it months in advance and I would not memorise this information). It’s a period house, therefore, I could hear the staff at reception using the printer past midnight…

Rooms are great but service not that great

Room size was great, and the hotel is beautiful

Staff did not speak English and could not understand anything we were saying. Also, we asked for a massage and it genuinely was the worst massage we have ever received. Also, the hotel was more expensive than our stay in Rio, which did not make any sense. On Friday night, the hotel told us that their chef was not there and it was pouring outside which meant that we couldn't go out for dinner. This was very unpleasant and unprofessional , as their hotel was full.

Beautiful building. Easy access and free parking available. Wonderful views from the pool area, a great place to relax and unwind. Breckfast was very nice and the common areas beautifully decorated.

Cosy and close my everything

Breakfast had just enough options. The hall for breakfast was not big but controling the number of people by hour was very helpfull. The place itself seems to be a huge old house, very well maintained, with classic furniture, super pretty and cosy main hall with a fireplace and confortable couches. The location is awesome. Pretty much of the cultural circuit can be made just walking by. Great restaurants around.

My room was close by the cleaning closet, that was used a lot, what produced some noise during the night.

Toda a pousada muito confortável e bem cuidada. Quartos confortáveis e limpos. Todos os empregados muito educados e solícitos, com destaque para Tuane e Beth! O café da manhã foi maravilhoso e a piscina também muito agradável. Destaque também para o cafezinho disponível a qualquer tempo na área comum. Amei!

Única sugestão de melhora é o bloqueio de luz da janela do quarto. A cortina deixava escapar luz para o quarto pela manhã. A tv também poderia melhorar. Mas nada disso impediu a estadia incrível !

Estadia perfeita em Petrópolis!

A localização é perfeita, fizemos tudo a pé ou de uber pq o trânsito na cidade é caótico, poucos estacionamentos na cidade e estacionar na rua é praticamente impossível.
