Beach Front Bamboo

Es war alles top. Die Lage, die Ausstattung, die Aussicht, der Strand. Die Wohnung ist in einer ruhigen Residence. Es ist super ausgestattet. In der Küche hat es auch eine Nespresso-Maschine und Mikrowelle und was ich sehr geschätzt habe, ist dass ein neuer Schwamm für uns da war. Es gab auch frische Geschirrtücher. Klimaanlage und Deckenventilator. Das schnelle Wifi im Zimmer ist auch praktisch. In der Wohnung gibt es auch eine Waschmaschine mit Bügeleisen. Sogar praktische Liegestühle und Sonnenschirm gibt es. Für Kinder und Erwachsene gibt es Schwimmnudel und Schnorchelausrüstung. Wenn man Unterwegs ist, hat man die Möglichkeit eine Kühltruhe mitzunehmen.

Es hat zwar freie Parkplätze, aber auch sehr viele Autos. Wenn man sucht, findet man eine Möglichkeit zu parken an de Seite der Strasse. Solange niemand reklamiert, ist es ok. Evtl muss man ein wenig laufen.

Audrey and Vincent are wonderful hosts, very thoughtful, patient and full of ideas. The apartment has a superb view over the sea, and it is truly no more than a two minute walk to the private beach, where you also will find a restaurant. Believe me, I have spent hours to find true beachfront accomodations in Guadeloupe. As you might have gathered yourself 90% of the properties that consider themselves “beach front” are actuelly “sea view”. Snorkellling is possible, just keep to the right of the beach and the fun will start. The apartment itself is located in a secluded area with lots of 4-apartment buildings. It’s a bit tricky to find but if you punch “restaurant Ti Coco” in “maps me” you should be fine. The compound is secured by a gate with a guard, something to be considered rather normal than concerning. A supermarket (Carrefour) is about 7mins away by car. The kitchen is well equipped, and a nice little thing was the washing machine. The beach is absolutely safe and clean, and the water ist simply wonderful. From here we did excursions all over Grand Terre and we had a good time!
