Shanti Nivas

It took us a while to find the property, but that was our fault. Once we got there, Jay proved to be the most amazing host. He was friendly and a pleasure to talk to. The room was very well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast was beautifully tasty and plentiful. We have no hesitation of recommending Shanti Nivas for anyone looking for accommodation in the area. Highly rated!!!

There is absolutely nothing to fault. We were made most welcome and would definitely go back if we are ever back in the region.

The room was rather spacious and nicely furnished in colonial style with a huge balcony facing the garden. Quiet and cosy, bed very comfortable. The hosts friendly and communicative.

Everything!!!.Location is very calm and you can easily find it.Apparments are very clean and beautifull with nice terace with lovely view to hidden garden.Our hosts Jay and Henry are very kind and nice.We got great and yummy breakfast prepared by them and we really enjoy talking with them.If you are traveling nearby take your time and stay at least one night because you will remeber it after you return home.thank you!!!!!

I loved Jay's place. The balcony was beautiful with many fruit trees around, a beautiful garden below, and so many birds singing, colourful geckos came to visit and scuttled around in the trees. The apartment is lovely, has everything you need, and it has a good air con so you can sleep at night. There's a rooftop where you can watch the sunset, or sunrise. Jay is such a helpful and friendly host and can advise on everything you could think of - where to run, snorkel, swim, walk, eat. I will be back next time I'm in Mauritius!
