Sa Carroca Villa

The villa is incredibly spacious and was the perfect fit for our group of 10. It's located in a peaceful area, yet still close to the city center and a supermarket. The hosts were easy to reach and responded quickly to our messages. There was also enough parking space for at least two cars, which was very convenient.

Some of the beds were in poor condition. The springs were clearly visible and could be felt through the mattresses, making them extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. Several members of our group woke up with stiff backs as a result. In addition, several of the sun loungers by the pool were old and a few were broken. We also experienced very low water pressure in some of the showers, especially in the blue bathroom on the ground floor, where the shower had almost no water pressure at all.

The villa was in a nice quiet residential area with a nice friendly local restaurant just 100m away at end of the road leading to the villa. There is also a big supermarket less than 10minute walk away. Taxi to the main Ushuaia area was not expensive. The villa was a good size for the 6 of us and could probably accommodate more. Kitchen/dining was well equipped with everything you need. Pool area was great and even a ping pong table and BBQ area. Communication with the management company was great from start to finish and they greeted us well to show us around. I would recommend staying here.

Some of the beds were apparently not very comfortable and the shower pressures were bit weak in some of the bathrooms.

The location was great , lots of space and a nice pool.

The property does need a refurb. We stayed at this property last year and did not comment on the overall appearance but thought this year the owners would of spent some money to upgrade and fix broken appliances Security was bad , door in upstairs bedroom does not lock, does not even shut properly, it can be pushed open. A window in other upstairs bedroom pushes open. Shower broken , toilet continually flushing, towel holders on the floor. A lack of drinking glasses , there were only 2 wine glasses and only a couple of larger glasses, for 8 adults this is poor. Most of the plates are chipped. Upstairs bedroom curtains poor and not keeping light out , downstairs kitchen net curtains looked grubby..
