Captain's Gem

I visited Sami with my mum and daughter and we absolutely loved this place! The location is perfect for the restaurants, bars, supermarkets and sea for swimming daily. The apartment itself is large and wonderfully furnished. It’s very traditional and homely so if sleek & modern is your thing, it might not be to your taste, but it was perfect for us - marble staircase, a balcony off both bedrooms with incredible views, the main fabulous balcony, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds etc. The owners live next door and they are so friendly and helpful. I felt so calm and peaceful here and slept the best I’d slept in a long time!

Our only slight issue was that the water pressure from the shower was weak at times, but the owners explained that the water company actually reduce the mains pressure to conserve water in the summer months so there was nothing they could personally do. It was a really minor issue in an otherwise perfect apartment.

Beautiful home which has been furnished with great care by the owners. Full of unique pieces and character. The covered terrace overlooking the sea is superb.

Nothing

The hosts were so helpful and responsive when we needed them but we didn't hear anything from them other than a wave in the mornings on our way out. The place itself was utterly perfect. Clean, well equipped, spacious. It's right on the seafront with beautiful views. Loads of lovely restaurants within easy walking distance.

It's over a bar which plays music from 10am til past midnight. It's very gentle music and it's not too loud, but it did mean we had to have our own music playing to drown it out.

The location is fantastic. The property itself is fab The hosts parents were very welcoming

The aircon in the main bedroom was poor and very very noisy, The host did say they tried to get someone to look at it but they didn’t answer. The host emailed me on the first evening asking why the aircon was still on when no one was in the property but my daughter was, I don’t know how they would be able to tell, And lastly the water pressure was almost non existent in the shower and the hosts parents who live next door always used the garden hose at busy shower times causing the water to stop completely. They did however turn the hose off as soon as we questioned it
