    I would highly recommend choosing this hotel as it is perfect in every aspects from the hotel staffs, room condition, breakfast, strategic location as well as the hot spring provided. It is so good that I would give a 10/10 rating. The hotel is kept so clean & the breakfast spread is good that it is comparable to the one provided in any 5 stars hotel. The room is of ancient Chinese design and very nicely decorated and clean. It is of walking distance to the nearest tourist spot which is Kuan Zai Alley and a few streets behind this hotel has plenty of nice eateries and shops selling afforadable and trendy souveneirs. We were having difficulty in booking transport to airport via Didi. There is one extremely helpful front desk staff named Wang Liang Yan (王良燕) who went extra miles in helping us to book the transport by using her own account and pay for us in advance. She even made a call to make sure the driver explain to us about the toll charges which is excluded from the rate shown. We truly appreciate her effort and kindness. I will definitely come back to stay in this hotel if I were to travel again to Chengdu. It is definitely highly recommended to everyone.

    The facade of the hotel struck me as rather ancient and antiquated. A good introduction to the nearby historical Kuanzhai Alley. The interior was similarly ancient and cosy. I was expecting to drag my luggage all the way to my room on the 6th floor however, was pleasantly surprised by the availability of elevators. The room was spacious, cosy, and pleasantly decorated. All the prerequisites for a comfortable were provided. The most impressive piece of equipment was the high-tech remote controlled bidet. Could be technically challenging for those not accustomed to such gadgetry. The only two necessities missing are a safe and a small bar fridge, humble opinion of a frequent traveller. Closed proximity to many attractions and all types of eateries. Buses, taxis and e-hailing transportation are in front of the hotel. The nearest train station is the Kuanzhai Alley train station, a 15 minute walk. (I was informed). All in all, a good choice if you are not into swimming pools, gym and fanciful breakfast spread. My only advice is that they should provide a receptionist with at least a command of spoken kindergarten English. When a receptionist does not not understand the word, 'television' in English, it does not bode well for the hotel.
