Enjoy Verona

zufälligerweise waren die besitzerin und ich fast gleichzeitig beim apartment. obwohl es für eine übergabe noch zu früh war. hintergrund meiner frühen anreise war, dass mein motorrad einen getriebeschaden hatte und ich es mit mühe und not bis zur adresse geschaftt habe. was ich dann an unterstützung erfahren habe, war außergewöhnlich! hilfe beim finden einer motorradwerkstatt, wir sind dann gemeinsam (sie mit ihrem moped) zur werkstätte gefahren. sie hat auf mich gewartet, bis mit dem mechaniker alles besprochen war, und hat mich anschließend wieder zum apartment zurückgebracht. vielen lieben dank für alle diese hilfe! am apartment gibt es nichts auszusetzen. alles war tip top. das gepäck konnte ich vor dem einchecken (und optional auch nach dem checkout) in einem separaten raum aufbewahren. im kühlschrank waren wasser und milch für den kaffee vorbereitet. die lage war grossartig, um die ecke zur arena. ich habe da vielleicht 6/7 minuten hin benötigt. und knapp 10 minuten zur casa di giulietta bzw. piazza delle erbe. alles in allem, ich kann diese unterkunft bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen.

zu wenig zeit in verona verbracht...

The property had everything you could need and was a great location for exploring Verona, it felt spacious and was very clean with much needed aircon, we arrived to find water, fruit juice and milk in the fridge and supplies for a daily continental style breakfast, mini cakes, biscuits, jam pots, Nutella pots etc.

There was nothing not to like about the property.

The overall accommodation for this price. Large apartment, good for two (young) people. American tourists will love it (except perhaps for the steep, albeit short, ladder that gives access to the apartment)

The lack of contact (except at the end, to pick up the luggage) with the host, everything had to be done vie cellphone. I am an (old) traveler, not a tourist, contact with local people is always nice. The continental breakfast was abundant, but all pre-packaged - no fresh bread, for instance.

The location was amazing. Close to the city center but also quiet.
