About this cabin rental
Cabin was built in the 50's but updated to modern features. Knotty Pine walls and vaulted ceiling with beams give it so much character.
Just the right size for a couple or a family of 4. Beautiful lake views from the front room, living room and deck. Pets must have prior approval.
The cottage consists of one bedroom and one bathroom with and additional sleeping area on the glassed-in front room. There is a queen size memory foam mattress in the bedroom and a full-sized futon in the front room.

Kitchen has all new cabinets, above the stove microwave, full size fridge. Pots, pans and dishes included to make sure you can cook your own meals. I have also included a coffee pot and toaster.
The bathroom is accessed through the master bedroom. Please be aware of this, as it may be a problem with more than a couple staying.
This is one of the most restful places I have ever lived. The road is off the beaten trail, and only the few neighbors will drive by.
The deck is wonderful, nice place to sit and enjoy the sunrise, a nice drink and beautiful lake views.
Really not a good place to swim unless you are adventurous. You can walk down to the lake on public access steps: but, it is a steep climb up, and there is NO BEACH or DOCK just a bank. VERY STEEP climb. There is a public water access just up the road where you can launch a boat or fish. Water can be very cold here since it comes from below the dam up stream.
There is off the road parking at the back of the house, several steps up to the parking area please see pictures.

Ran into an issue of cleanliness at check in, and communicated that with the Host. She was fast with communication with this issue. A storm came through and we lost power, but the Host was in constant contact until the power came back on after about 10 hours. One safety issue I noticed is the front steps from the driveway are poorly lit, and makes packing/unpacking difficult. Also, where the outside garbage can is located, which isn't abnormal to be on the street, there is no clear safe path or steps to take out the trash. It is very dark and unlevel downhill walk to take out the trash.
