OCEAN SANDS: Beach Condo with a view in the heart of Madeira Beach

I give this unit 4 1/2 stars, The owner was great to deal with - very timely responses. The unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico was an 11! The condo was clean and had a large balcony the width of the unit. Master bedroom was large and also overlooked the Gulf and had patio doors leading to the balcony. Second bedroom was a decent size. The unit was half renovated - new flooring throughout and freshly painted. It didn't bother me much, however, at the price being charged many people will want a unit with the kitchen and bathrooms updated - including replacing the appliances especially the very noisy refrigerator. The building is about 50 years old and is quite 'bare bones - outdoor pool and hot tub but few amenities. Be prepared to get your exercise walking the beach as the building does not have a fitness room. Very convenient to have a grocery store and a drug store within a 5 minute walk as well as a few restaurants - all other shopping was a drive - 10 minutes +, which is why I rated the location with 4 stars. If the beach is all you want - then the location is 5 star.
