Summary:
'Worthy Porpoise' is what we call this popular, deluxe oceanfront condo. It can sleep up to four people by way of a Tempur-pedic king size bed and a queen size Murphy, has two full bathrooms, an electric fireplace for ambiance and a full kitchen. If the weather is stormy, stay inside and watch the waves from the amazing view of the oceanside suite. Don't forget about our indoor heated saltwater pool and dry sauna!
The Space:
Unit 110, which we call “Worthy Porpoise,” is one of the premium beachfront properties on the Oregon coast.
The oceanside suite includes a 42-inch TV mounted against the wall, a queen-sized Murphy bed, and a couch, dining room table and a full kitchen stocked to the nines with cooking supplies. If home cooking is on your agenda during this beach vacation, this is the spot for you.
This condo has 8-foot glass sliding doors that open right up overlooking the edge of the beach. Enjoy the grassy patio, where you can watch your children build sandcastles below, and look for the bobbing heads of harbor seals in the shallow waves beyond. Walk north 10 minutes to some natural tide pools. Walk south and wade in the D River, the shortest river in the world.
The master bedroom includes a king bed with a Tempur-Pedic mattress, as well as another 40-inch television and second full bathroom. The Murphy bed in the oceanside suite folds up into the wall, allowing the condo to sleep four while maintaining the spaciousness of the living area.
No. 110 Worthy Porpoise is located in one of the most convenient spots at the Sea Gypsy. There are NO STAIRS to this ground-floor condo, which is about 30 feet from the entrance of the Sea Gypsy’s indoor heated pool and sauna. An outdoor gas grill and vending machine are right outside 110′s back door, too.
Guest Access:
The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. There you will find a key that will grant you access to our indoor, heated salt water pool and dry sauna.

This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility.
There are three gas grills on site available for guest use. They are located next to our sparkling pool.
The condo comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer.

Sea Gypsy Rentals manages more than 59 privately owned beachfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. We give you your space, but we’re available on-site if you need anything.

Older property converted to condos. Wonderful for family and friends to get together and enjoy mother nature and each other!

The unit itself is lovely. Great view of the ocean, nice furnishings. Too bad the beach staircase right outside our door was damaged, & not usable, but acts of Nature happen! The floors in the unit were quite sandy & gritty--needed a good vacuuming, or cleaning. We couldn't get the TV/cable to work first night--your TV system really needs upgrading. We were also quite disappointed that the pool was closed *all day* Monday, & we were leaving Tuesday. The main reasons I booked at Sea Gypsy was the salt water pool, & easy beach access. Felt let down on both accounts for what I paid. The biggest positive of our stay was your employee Joe! He was a delight, & so helpful getting the TV to work, retrieving my cane that was left in the room, until I could return for it, & for extending our check-out time Tuesday morning so I could use the pool when it re-opened. Thank you so much Joe, for your extra service! Despite some of the glitches, I would book again at Sea Gypsy. Please take this as constructive criticism--it's a nice place.
