About this apartment rental
Your accommodation is located on the top floor of a rural single-family house on the edge of the Dingdener / Büngerner Heide nature reserve.
The area is flat and extensive and offers ideal conditions for your bike or hiking tour. The landscape is characterized by grassland, but there are also extensive forest areas - pure nature.
Nearby you have access to the "Hohe Mark" bicycle routes, the "agri-cultura adventure route", the "3 rivers cycle path" and the "Niederrhein route".
Discover the variety of regional products on the numerous farm shops in the area or stop off at the farm cafes.
The nearest shop is Hof Schäfer, 3 km away.
In the village of Dingden, 5 km away, you will find all shops for daily needs, as well as restaurants, cafes and restaurants. The outdoor pool is open in the summer months.
There is also a bed linen store sale there.
A trip to Bocholt with its attractive city center, the historic town hall, the Aa lake, the craft and textile museum is ideal. There is also a cinema there.
The Inselbad Bahia invites with wellness and relaxation with water and sauna world, brine pool, as well as a range of massages and Haman.
Sweet tooths will find a warehouse sale of chocolate coated tablets and the praline manufacture with its own cafe in Rhede.

From there you can make a detour to the Zwillbrocker Venn, where the northernmost breeding colony of pink flamingos is located. The small baroque church in Zwillbrock is also worth seeing.
Would you prefer to explore the area by motorcycle? No problem. There is a Harley-Davidson rental at "Thunderbike" in Hamminkeln.
If you are interested in the local bird life, there are very good observation opportunities. In 2018, two pairs of storks bred in the Dingden Heath and also the curlew, which was protected by the EU, breeds in the wet meadows.
The beds are freshly made upon arrival and fresh towels and tea towels are also ready for you. If you stay longer, the linen change takes place weekly.

This was the cleanest, most tasteful, best equipped accommodation which we have ever stayed in. Arnika was very helpful and welcoming, answering all of our questions, especially about the local wildlife. The attention to detail was exceptional, Arnika even translated the welcome pack into English for us.
We especially loved the cycling and the wildlife of the area..
