The lake house is lovely- one part original log cabin charm, one part high-ceiling great room/mud-laundry/king bedroom suite addition. Great view out to West Twin. Clean and comfortable. We stayed over Thanksgiving with adult siblings and our kids. Overall a good experience, and we were glad to have the rental while visiting aged parents. Jeff was thorough and welcoming, made sure to communicate that the snow-removal folks were headed over on Thanksgiving morning. We were even allowed to check-in early! Our only disappointment was that the beds are inaccurate on the VRBO listing. One bedroom has ONE set of bunk beds- a twin over full; NOT two bunk beds as the listing description with bed emoji-characters shows. The other bedroom is most certainly a full-size bed, NOT a queen as listed. The third room is, in fact, a king bed. Not a deal-breaker overall, but it did require some people in our party to sleep in non-bed areas. We would stay again, with this prior knowledge to plan better. :-)

The pet accommodations were good, our dog really enjoyed the outside yard and playing by the water. It was very peaceful, just what we were looking for. The house had everything you could need to enjoy your stay. It is close to other areas if you want to take a day trip. The colors on the trees were beautiful. I imagine that the summer time would be a great time on the lake.

Our stay was great! The property was beautiful, we enjoyed the kayaks and bonfire, and it was a great place for our entire family to be.
