This cottage "Ace of Hearts" a private two-story Fredericksburg TX property in a peaceful country neighborhood, just a short drive to Main Street. On the first floor is a welcoming den with a leather sleeper sofa, leather recliner, and a large TV complete with Dish Satellite selections, DVD/CD player. Guests can enjoy the Bose CD Sound System along with a electric fireplace, with no mess. An Open concept with full kitchen and dining area.
Guests will find a spacious master bedroom with king size bed, private bathroom with a Tuscan tiled shower and access to porch, perfect for viewing the plentiful deer and birds.
Beyond the kitchen is a downstairs bathroom complete with tiled shower. Upstairs in the loft overlooking the den, are two twin beds, bringing Ace of Hearts total occupancy to 6 people. This is the perfect place for a couple seeking a quiet time alone, or for a group of friends and family to celebrate or create new memories!

This property is prices for 2 guests, additional guests will be $35 per night.

Security Deposit will be refunded if no damage are done to the property and if additional guests were reported.

The home was clean and well-supplied. It does not have a screened back porch as the listing states, which turned out to be fine. We loved the serenity of the location and sitting out on the front or back porch to enjoy the deer, rabbits, and birds. We are already looking at our calendar to see when we can return.

This was a great location if you enjoy a quiet peaceful location near Fredericksburg. Quick trip into town or surrounding areas. Place felt like home so cozy and well equipped with kitchen essentials. Upon our arrival we were greeted by a herd of deer. We needed to stay an extra day due to adverse weather. Host was very accommodating. Would stay there again!

We visit family once a year and like to stay where we are out of town, but not too far. Ace of Hearts was perfect! The deer and birds in the back were enjoyed every evening. One day we left out and went the opposite way of town to take in the scenery on the way to Enchanted Rock, great drive. Eveyrthing was clean, comfortable, and so so peaceful.

The location in a country neighborhood is so peaceful! The house is nicely decorated and has plenty of room for four friends to sleep and visit. The host provides nice touches throughout the house - plenty of towels and toiletries, snacks, and a bottle of wine in the fridge. As one of my friends said, "The place lacked nothing".

Ace of Hearts is not too far from town, and we enjoy the peaceful neighborhood. We LOVE watching the deer outside the house! This cottage is just the right size for me & my husband, and very clean and comfortable. This was our 3rd stay! We'll be back!

I came with co-workers for a weekend getaway. The property was easy to find. It was beautiful and clean. I really enjoyed the mornings sitting on the front porch watching the wildlife while drinking my coffee. And thank you for having a Keurig with K-cups! 2 of us are coffee drinkers and even packed a Keurig in case. Lol. The only problem we had was we kept hitting our heads on the slanted ceiling in the loft. When we first got there I didn’t realize there was a slant and walked right into it. So, just be aware Of your head when going up in the loft. But this did not change our opinion of this property. We absolutely loved it! Thank you so much.

It was the ideal setting for our weekend in Fredericksburg! Class of ‘84 life-long friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The deer roaming were a treat. We never had to drive anywhere. The wine tours picked us up from the house and we Ubered to Main Street. The house was cozy and clean with lovely personal touches. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely loved our stay here. We enjoyed sitting out on the enclosed patio and watching all the deer & hummingbirds come to visit. We even had a wild turkey stop by. The host had a little vase of flowers on our arrival wishing us a happy anniversary. Only a few minutes outside of downtown so just far enough away from the busyness of town but not too far to drive in a couple times a day for activities and dining. The house is very nice and well maintained. Would certainly stay here again.

Everything was ok. There were little items left to make us feel welcome. Two of us use walkers and the bathrooms were large enough for the walkers. However, I did forget that we need safety bars in the shower. This was my fault. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable.

We’re back

Every year the “Ya-Ya’s” (4 in all) travel from other places in TX to Fredericksburg. Like many, we skipped last year, but this year we were back!!! This property was a great place to start again!! It was far enough out of town to feel like we were in the country, but close enough that it didn’t take up precious “shopping time” to get to town. Thank you for a lovely, peaceful stay.

The property was very pleasant. We travel long distances to see physicians in San Antonio a few times a year, so we try to incorporate a pleasant experience with a long drive. The cottage was so nice and quiet. The wild life was so nice to watch from the screened in porch. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
