Pleasant and peaceful space, where you can enjoy a flavor of the Portuguese country side.
Access to the swimming pool has 5 difficult steps that are not recommended to people with reduced mobility, elderly and/or small children.
Although “check out time is before midday” (written guidance from the host), we were compelled to leave no later than 10 am.

We had an excellent two weeks stay in the villa in Rubiães The villa is nicely decorated, the kitchen well equipped and the views from the porch/terrace are grand. The location is perfect, the national park Peneda-Geres and cities like Braga. Guimares, Ponte do Lima and Valenca are within one hour drive. We really enjoyed the pool and the fresh eggs from the chickens every morning were an extra bonus. The host Helena is very friendly and responded very quickly to our questions. Would definitely stay again

The house is very well organised and very well located.
Seating at the terrace, surrounded by a lawn, a swimming pool and trees , you can hear the silence of the trees and birds while appreciating the landscape of the green valley and ills.
The kids enjoyed to feed the chickens and pick up the eggs every day.
The house is very well equipped with everything you need.
A lovely sun light at sunrise and sunset!
The daily supper was delicious , cooked in the barbecue and eaten at the terrace.
