Organic farm

We have made our farm, engaging the farmhouse and a ruin dating back to the thirteenth century, trying to respect the characteristics of rural architecture of the time. We are just a few minutes from the Duomo and the center of Amalfi, along the path that leads into the beautiful Valle delle Ferriere, a deep green cove protected by the mountains.
Thanks to its geographical position, the Valle area has developed an environment with specific physical and biological characteristics. The Fore Porta farm can only be reached on foot and it is at the beginning of the Valle delle Ferriere, in an area that still preserves the ancient rural character of the old Amalfi.
Even if the distance is not excessive, about 800 meters from the road, we live immersed in nature and in absolute tranquility and, further proof of what has been said, just think that the ancient medieval road that reaches our company is called "Via Paradise "!
Specialized mainly in the cultivation of lemons of the Sfusato Amalfitano PGI variety and in the sale and tasting of other products at zero Km, the company takes care of satisfying the guest, preferring the taste and essence of the products, grown without the use of dangerous pesticides.
We have reserved a room of our house to allow lovers of nature and tranquility, to share with us the experience of falling asleep cradled by the murmur of the river in the distance and wake up to birdsong, to breathe pristine air and eat healthy food at zero km.
The double room with the possibility of a third bed is furnished in the rustic style of the area. It has a private bathroom with shower, TV, wi-fi and a terrace overlooking the greenery and tranquility of the Valle delle Ferriere, from which you can see the ancient paper mills on the river and admire the terraces of the farm.
Breakfast at Fore Porta is prepared daily with wholesome food and simple ingredients. Every morning your awakening will be accompanied by homemade cakes and biscuits, fresh seasonal fruit and jams made with the products of our garden. All seasoned by the kindness and friendliness of our family who will be ready to wish you a warm good morning. Breakfast can be served on the balcony of the room, under the green kiwi pergola that covers the largest terrace of the house or in the charming medieval restaurant that houses our farm.
For those who wish it is also possible to choose half-board and taste our typical dishes prepared with passion and respecting the local culinary tradition.
