We enjoyed our stay in this delightful little cottage! We couldn't believe how close it was to the bay, which felt like our own private little beach; there were others there, but it was not crowded at all. We especially loved watching the sunset. The outdoor space was very well done. They really made it feel like an outdoor oasis. The hydrangeas were gorgeous! We also appreciated the extra touches- all the fixings for coffee and a basic first aid kit in the bathroom (which we put to use). We did a nice bike ride along the bay, which was biker-friendly and felt safe for my 11-year-old. We tried to eat at Harpoons on the Bay (a short walk) but never hit it at the right time. Next time!

This is a charming little cottage that is yours to rent. The pictures don't do it justice - from the pink front door to the beautiful flowers you can view from the gazebo in the rear, it is a relaxing place to stay and unwind. The main bedroom with an en suite tub/shower is on the ground floor. (If you saw the review mentioning no door between the main bedroom and ensuite, don't worry, there is a very solid door there now.) There is another bathroom with shower off the kitchen on that floor. Up a flight of winding steps are 2 single beds with a large TV and small sitting area. These steps are not for the very young or very mature, but we didn't use it and it was perfect for just the two of us. The lack of a dishwasher wasn't a problem for us either as we were in Cape May only for a weekend family get together. Your host and hostess were swift to respond to the small issues that arose. All in all, a lovely place to stay, and one we will look for again when we return to Cape May.
