About this cottage rental

Enchanting Eureka–tucked away enough to really escape, yet just 5 minutes from the hip locality of Federal, 10 minutes to the charming village of Clunes & Eltham, and 15 minutes to beautiful Bangalow. We’re under 30 minutes to the centre of the universe at Byron Bay, and 20 minutes to Minyon Falls and the Nightcap National Park. Killen Falls is also close by at Tintenbar.

Relax and unwind in the cottage with views to the rainforest, or the 300 year old Teak trees. Two living areas provide options to relax, and an outdoor setting under the trees takes al-fresco dining to another level!

Wander through the avenues of the Macadamia orchard, trek through the paddocks to Coopers Creek to swim, fish or gem fossick. Enjoy a picnic lunch under the 200 lush green Pecan trees. Go for a bush walk on the 100 acre property. There’s plenty of elevated vantage points to take in the sunset, the sounds of nature and bird watching.

Note: closed, sturdy shoes required for walking thru the property.

Your accommodation was originally built as the ‘Manager’s Quarters’ for the working farm. It is now completely renovated, and fully equipped for a stylish self-catering stay.

Absolutely amazing! Everything has been thought of in terms of setting up the home so you don’t have to take anything but food and clothes. All furniture and decor tasteful and comfortable. Even the shower bottles are quality standard. Waterhole wonderful to swim in and walks through the orchards beautiful. Close to pub for a very good meal.

I visited Lomah Bliss with my 3 children (ages 5-8) and we had such a wonderful time. The cabin was beautifully appointed and had all we needed for our 3-night stay. We particularly loved the bowl of macadamia nuts and vice on the kitchen table - very appropriate for this property! There is a sealed driveway down to the cabin so I brought the kids' bikes with us and they spent hours riding up and down the driveway. The property itself is expansive and we spent lots of time walking and exploring amongst the macadamia trees. Wet weather did not deter us, the gumboots and rain jackets I brought with us allowed us to continue exploring, although these were soon shed in favour of collecting moss and running through muddle puddles! It was enjoyable watching the kids just be kids and this mum was able to enjoy some feet-up time with a cup of tea. With the short time we had we visited Rocky Creek Dam, Minyon Falls and Nightcap National Park, all very close and accessible from Lomah Bliss and the drives were very picturesque. The kids had a wonderful time exploring the nearby Cooper's Creek and much fun was had learning how to skim rocks. Patricia and Frank were very welcoming hosts and while they respected our privacy, made it very clear they were available should we need anything. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Lomah Bliss and look forward to returning to continue exploring this beautiful area.Thank-you from the Wise Family!
