About this house rental
We characterize our property as a small homestead on the lake. There are five properties; the farm house, a tiny house, a studio apartment, the lodge and the gray house. In addition, we have an event center for weddings, parties, and other events. All located over 60 forested acres of exploration.
Spend your vacation with nature. Walk to the lake, travel 1.5 miles to boat ramp and state park, take a sunset kayak trip on the lake, watch hummingbirds and deer from your front porch, fish, roast hotdogs and s'mores, walk across the dam, and much more. Easy trail to lake with secluded swimming, fishing or just taking in the view.

Be aware......Listing needs to be updated with some things. It should state in the listing, that the Driveway to property is very steep!! The lakeview is obscured by trees, but you can see the water.
Firewood was not available. Did not see firepit.
If you are going for fishing, the dock is about a half mile from the property. Driveway is steep for that as well. May not be a big deal for some, but just be aware---you will need a 4-wheel drive vehicle! (unless you want to walk)
Trail across the road and to the lake, is not an easy one for seniors or those with physical challenges. FYI.
A little issue with figuring out thermostat.
Home is nice inside and outside. Owner was real responsive.
If you just want a place for peace and quiet, this is great! We enjoyed seeing deer and the sky was amazing after dark!
