This beautiful waterfront home offers 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths and is located in the village of Owls Head, Maine (just off Route 73) with amazing ocean views. It is the perfect vacation home for a large family or two families that enjoy traveling together. The home has an open concept living area that is filled with light, and a large deck that spans the full width of the home, overlooking the harbor. The kitchen is fully-equipped with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances.
The home has just been completely renovated in 2016 with brand new furnishings, linens, and kitchenware. The location is perfect for you to enjoy everything that Midcoast Maine has to offer…museums, restaurants, light houses, shopping, hiking, and beaches. It’s just minutes from Rockland’s vibrant downtown and only a few miles from the Knox County Regional Airport.
Imagine waking up in the master suite of this luxurious home, and opening your eyes each morning to breathtaking views of Rockland Harbor from your king-sized bed. The expansive deck overlooks the harbor and is outfitted with a barbeque, outside dining area, and rocking chairs. You can spend the perfect day reading a book, sipping cocktails with friends, or just enjoying the view of the Rockland breakwater and lighthouse. This property provides direct access to the beach below. The home boasts two kayaks for your use, as well as a fire pit complete with Adirondack chairs for an evening gathering of marshmallow roasting and savoring ocean breezes!
The first floor of this lovely home has a family room (with sleeper sofa), two bedrooms each with queen-sized beds, a full bath and direct access to the back yard through sliding glass doors. The second floor has a living room, dining room, kitchen, one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a full bath and the master bedroom. The master boasts an en-suite bath with double vanity sinks, walk in shower, and a king-size bed. The deck can be accessed from the living room or master bedroom.
The home also offers a two-car garage with additional designated parking. We also offer WiFi throughout the house, four smart televisions so you can access your Netflix, Hulu, and other accounts, and a laundry room with a washer and dryer.

What a beautiful location to spend our week in Maine. My grandsons had a blast exploring the seaside shore. The house had everything we needed. The host was excellent in communication. Our only item of concern was the lack of air-conditioning in the basement bedrooms. It did get quite warm for my daughter and her family who were sleeping there. We would definitely come back.

We visited wth two other couples and we were all very comfortable in this 4 bedroom home. The kitchen, dining room and living room are spacious and well equipped. The outdoor deck and BBQ was enjoyed as well. The waterfront setting of this home is ideal for exploring tidal pools and kayaking (bring boots for the tidal pools) It’s also close to several beautiful Maine towns, each of which is worth exploring. Cons: The living room sofa needs to be replaced. Cushions so soft you sink in and can’t get up. Cleaning could be a lot more thorough. Starter supplies of bath soap and laundry soap would also be helpful. The neighbor next door seems unhappy to have renters nearby. We usually take daily walks but this location isn’t good for walking near the home.Recommendations: The Owl’s Head Transportation Museum is great. Hardy Boat Cruises are great. We took one to see the puffins - with narration by Audubon professionals. Restaurants to try: Primos for farm to table, Claws (looks touristy but is actually very good) and McCloon’s (right on the water - go early or you may have to park a ways up the street. Some people bring tablecloths and their own beverages and side dishes here) for lobster rolls, Archer’s on the Pier - good food in a beautiful setting, Home Kitchen Cafe for breakfast.

Location was perfect. Nice size house with all the thing’s we could need. The view and yard were the highlight for us. Could use a bit of a deep clean but overall highly recommend.

What a delightful home! The view is spectacular…our very favorite part of every day was an evening meal on the upper deck. Every room was comfortable and had every amenity you could need. Definitely visit the little towns up and down the coast, take a sailing ship across the bay, and walk to the lighthouse. We will be back!
