Great place to spread out. There were 6 of us and we were very comfortable. Owner was great to work with. Pool was refreshing. Short walk to the beach.

Home is as described, older but well maintained and in fantastic location being just a few blocks from public beach access. Had a couple issues while we were there but Steve went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of.

From the beginning check in and communication was great. Once we arrived to the home we have kids so of course they wanted to check out the pool. Once outside, the pool had a very dingy yellow color and there was dirt all on the bottom of pool. (i have pics and video to verify this before and after i cleaned it) I had to spend the whole evening of june 20th cleaning the pool and getting it ready to swim in. ( i hope who arrived on june 24th enjoys the clear pool water we left them.) The owner did send me $100 back for that day but it shouldve never been allowed to look that way for arrival.
There is only one way to access the pool from the home and that is from the master bedroom only, so anyone wanting to swim will have to either go through that room each time or go all the way around the outside of the home, which is very frustrating for members of your family who may go to bed earlier or may be asleep earlier than others.
The back pool area was not clean at all, leaves and ants everywhere. And the old useless brokedown hottub in the back with standing water inside it and on top of it was very nasty, not to mention mosquitos everywhere around it.
Inside the home was good not great. The wifi is horrible if youre wanting to stream multiple devices at once or your kids play a video game at night while winding down. Most of the bar stools are wobbly and were very sketchy to sit on, while the big table was nice, the chairs for it are so high you cant get your legs under it if youre a tall person like myself. The home is in a good neighborhood, but if you have a older mom or grandmother with you or someone with bad knees the beach access is horrible, no flat entry ways, its all steps down from the top of road to beach area.
I just wanted to touch on some things that noone else was mentioning in the reviews that may help others decide on this home or not.
The homeowner was very quick to respond to issues that arose. If thats a concern for you
