Country House surrounded by nature

I really can’t speak highly enough of this villa or Gennaro and his family. The hosts: Before getting off the plane Gennaro and his son Mario had made contact and sent a pin drop of the villa location ~ 1 hour from the airport. This let us find it easily. Once at the villa we were treated with wine, bear and local delicacies (which were delicious) and Mario gave some local knowledge like restaurants and supermarkets. When my son got an ear infection Mario gave us ibuprofen for the pain and an antibiotic to clear the infection. We asked a number of questions over WhatsApp and all were dealt with quickly and to great effect. Although the owners live on site in the next villa over they are very respectful and give you privacy. The Villa: Is a lovely building set out in a traditional Italian way. Down stairs you have a large loung and kitchen diner as well as a toilet. To get upstairs you need to go outside, which seemed odd at first but was lovely. Once upstairs there is a lovely seating area where we ate our meals. From the seating area you access the bedrooms. The one is a good size double with aircon and en-suite shower room. The other has a downstairs sitting area / bedroom 3 and upstairs another good sized double with aircon and shower room. Outside the pool is really big and salt water treated so no pesky chlorine irritation (not like sea water, just a hint of salt). We spent hours each day in or by the pool. Kids loved the 4 dogs & want to go back!
