About this cottage rental

Come and enjoy the cottage life in the Okanagan's wine country next to the warmest lake in Canada. The climate in the only desert in Canada is warm and dry in the summer, perfect for relaxing at the lake or enjoying a selection of wines on your patio. Winter brings a mild climate, which is perfect to enjoy the slopes of the newly re-opened Mt Baldy ski resort less than an hour's drive from the cottage.

Our cottage consists of a cozy three-bedroom home with 2 bathrooms on two levels, 2 bedrooms down and the third located in the loft, perfectly designed for couples, families, and their guests. Main living areas look out to green landscaping, with trails to the magnificent clubhouse, a short walk to the sandy beach, and the playground with a fenced-in dog park. It's tastefully furnished and decorated to suit 6 adults on 2 full-size beds and a pull out sectional sofa, plus a bunk bed with an added trundle to accommodate 3 children.

The clubhouse has two pools, a full size adult pool and a smaller kids pool, as well as two hot tubs, all of which are open seasonally and weather dependent. There is also a full gym and a large community room that has a full sized kitchen and a fireplace to lounge next too. It is also set up as a small theater room for watching movies on a quiet night in.

There is no shortage of activities in and around the area, from the Peach Fest in August, to the numerous wine festivals that take place throughout the year. Or you can just enjoy a wine-tasting trip trying different wines at all the numerous wineries only a short minutes drive away. There are many bike and foot trails in the area to enjoy sightseeing, bird watching, or attend the local golf course for the day.

****Please be advised that due to the current Covid19 outbreak, the availability of amenities, such as the playground, pools, and gym, etc... may vary depending on the current provincial health guidelines.

Nice cottage with good walk ability. It was clean. The area was lovely. The host was very courteous when we had a question. We were concerned on the last day. Checkout was much earlier than I’ve ever known - by 10 am. There were lots of duties including remove sheets/duvets etc and wash & then put in dryer. The washer took an hour & a half!! Take trash out etc. we left it in very good condition. Too much work to end with. We were out on time but stressful. Awesome visit to wineries which was the reason for the visit. Local wineries were impressive with very kind staff! Beautiful scenery.

Great house and location. The house needs some stocking up as there wasn't much toilet paper, soap and it would have been nice to have some coffee for the Keurig machine. We noticed in the fine print that the propane doesn't come with the BBQ which seemed strange!

We had a great stay during our time in Osoyoos. The place had everything we needed as a family of 4 (2 kids under 4 years old). Lots of toys inside & sand toys for the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with condiments, sauces & spices. Coffee maker plus keurig for pods. Lots of kitchen appliances including a blender. The enclosed outdoor patio space was so wonderful. Very clean and the hosts were very responsive. We will definitely be back!

This rental met all of our expectations and more. The owners were responsive and easy to communicate with. The cottage was clean and well equipped. We were here in Winter and it was very quiet, which was exactly what we hoped for. In the Summer, I am sure it is much more active which would be great for anyone with children or grandchildren. The hot tub was open while we were here and we enjoyed that tremendously. We enjoyed our walks around the property each day and found the people in this little neigbourhood extremely friendly. Osoyoos is also very quiet in Winter time, but we enjoyed walking around the town and eating in the few places that stayed open. All in all, we would recommend this property.
