About this house rental
Spacious two bedroom cottage between Lake Marion and Lake Moultrie. Great fishing and quiet nights enjoying a private cove filled with wilderness. A short walk to Mac Daddy's for a bite to eat. There is plenty of room to dock your boat in the backyard. The water depth in the back yard is 5-6 feet and after launching your boat in at the ramp 100 yards away, you can tie it up to the dock in the backyard.
Great fishing year-round, either by boat or from the docks located a short walk away at Canal Lakes fish camp.
There are two beds upstairs, two pullout sofas downstairs. We also have an additional cot and pack-n-play for kids. We offer a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and 1.5 bathrooms. Just bring your fishing poles!
There is a fish cleaning station located in the rear of the property, although you can get them cleaned quick and cheap over at Canal Lakes Fish Camp if you don't want to clean them yourself.
There is a washer and dryer on premises and clean linens/towels are provided. WiFi internet, Roku, DVD player, and Nintendo are also provided.
We have just added a brand new HVAC system with heating and cooling.
About an hour from the Charleston area and about 1.5 hours from Columbia.

Loved it all. Kayaks out back. Fishing from then dock. Great food at restaurant around the corner.

This property is old and not well maintained. We were asked to not wear shoes in the house but we’re not warned about stepping on tack strips on the stair steps and edge of the carpets The kitchen was stocked but pots and pans had long outlived usefulness. I enjoy the beauty of this area and I was happy to spen 5 days here but the property itself definitely needs upkeep
