My family stayed here as we have extended family right down the street and wanted to visit after being away for 2 years. It was perfect!
The house was super clean and very comfortable! Everything we needed was there- beach chairs, towels - everything.
The best part of the house was the lanai and views. We saw whales and perfect sunsets everyday!

My husband and I and our two adult sons and daughter-in-laws stayed here for 2 weeks, and it was not long enough! The home has everything, from a beautiful, cooking-friendly kitchen and dining room table for eight, to comfy beds in every bedroom and a master upstairs suite to die for. Location is great for Koko Head hikes and Hanauma Bay exploration. Safeway grocery store is 5 minutes away by car, and Kona Brewing on the bayside has a nice outside deck for lunch. Honolulu's hustle and bustle is nicely distanced from this quiet and peaceful neighborhood but only a quick 20 minute ride away by car if you want it.
And oh the views! Both the backyard poolside area and the upstairs master suite have breath-taking views of Diamond Head and the Waikiki shoreline. But even the dining room and downstairs King bedroom have lovely views of Maunalua Bay. Your sunset glass of wine or your first morning cup of coffee will never have tasted better! We hated to leave - we will definitely rent this fabulous home again.

The home and property manager were amazing! The property manager was particularly wonderful… available for all questions and solved any issue we had while in the home. This property has beautiful views of the ocean. We wished the pool would have been heated, but that was minor… we just waited until it warmed up in the afternoon.

We found Aliha Nalu to be mesmerizing from day 1. Waking up to the view from the master suite every morning was like an infusion of Hawaiian serenity and joy before you even roam downstairs to your morning cup of coffee. Relaxing on the pool deck with the same view to wade into the morning's activities and ending the day with the glorious sunsets over Maunalua Bay with Diamond Head and the lights of Honolulu in the distance will be seared into our memories forever. Our stay on Koko Head was nothing short of life-changing.
