About this cabin rental

Amenities include wood burning fireplace, radiant floor heating, air conditioning, two full baths, three sleeping areas including a queen bed in master bedroom, an open loft with two full beds and a bunkroom with two bunkbeds in the lower level. Other amenities include a Weber gas grill, Spectrum TV/High Speed Wifi, DVD player, full sized washer/dryer, complete kitchen appliances with table service for 8, telephone and answering machine.

Beautiful secluded cabin located near Blue Rock State Forest and Jesse Owens State Park. On site activities include fishing, swimming, canoeing, campfires and relaxing in the peaceful hammock and hot tub.

Local area attractions include visiting The Wilds Nature Preserve, Longaberger Basket Company, Blue Rock State Park and Blue Rock State Forest (4500 acres that are great for hiking/fishing/swimming/hunting), Jesse Owens State Park and Wildlife Area, visit nearby antique and pottery shops in Zanesville or have dinner and ice cream at one of the local favorites. Muskingum River system offers boating, fishing or visiting the locks during the summer months. Cableas retail store is located about 1 1/2 hours away and the heart of Ohio Amish country is a wonderful day trip only 2 hours away.

This property had everything we were looking for a relaxing weekend. It was secluded, quiet, and the view was beautiful. The cabin was very clean, well-stocked, and the beds were comfortable. Tim and Angie were thoughtful hosts, communicating clearly throughout the process. The pond is such a nice feature - my family used the rowboat and canoe to enjoy it. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. I'm so happy to have found this gem, and hope to go back!

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The cabin was very secluded and in a serene atmosphere. We cooked breakfast every morning, there was plenty of cookware to do so. We sat on the deck in the mornings drinking our coffee and listened to the song of birds chirping and watching the squirrels frolic in the yard. In the evenings we sat by the fire-pit outback it was so beautiful to watch the moonlight shine on the pond. Very clean cabin with everything needed for a great stay. Definitely recommend. We also went to an exceptional winery Killing Tree Winery great wine and food and super nice people.

Beautiful, quiet and serene, great fishing and boating, wildlife. Inside cabin was adequate, mattress uncomfortable in master bedroom, no toaster available, dining set needs updating, some new utensils needed. Outside premises not maintained at all. Leaves and debris everywhere on cover deck, hot tub and door ways. Nice, but not an high end cabin. Overall, very enjoyable!!

Return visit to enjoy summer weather as previously visited in early spring last year. Caught some fish, had canoe ride,rowboat ride, bonfire, hammock time. Super clean, lovely setting. Birds and wildlife are your only neighbors. Great place to get away from world's noise.

Close friends and I braved the flooding Ohio weekend to seek out the cabin for a much needed girls trip. Some folks had to take a longer route than planned due to high water around the state. Worth it. Indoor fireplace was magical while we watched the thunder storms roll in from the large windows that overlooked the pond.. would love to return during the warmer months to enjoy the dock and outdoor pursuits that were offered. I can see a group laughing and sun bathing and swimming on the dock and ending the evening around the outdoor fireplace. Cabin was clean and peaceful.

The cabin and property were perfect for our Spring Retreat. Nature is around you and you can truly relax, unwind, and unplug. The cabin is spotless, cozy, and has everything you need for a getaway with friends or family. Our mornings and evenings were spent on the large porch in the back overlooking the pond enjoying the sight and quietness of the property. We hope to be back for another stay. Thank you for an amazing place for us to be together!

We had wonderful weather on Friday so we were able to sit outside by the fire pit until we called it a night. Saturday was hit or miss rain showers but we worked around it and again enjoyed most of the day outside. Hot tub was working Friday but unfortunately we were not able to use it the rest of our stay. Tim was notified and worked hard to get it corrected but the part wasn’t available. He did offer us a discount for our next stay and we will definitely be back!! We love the place
