Built in the early '90s, this custom-built mountain retreat combines rustic charm with luxurious details, featuring hand-peeled log columns, antique Oriental rugs, Ralph Lauren fabrics, stone floors, and slate accents in the bathrooms.
Designed with comfort and functionality in mind, this home offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels more like staying at a close friend's private getaway than a vacation rental.
Chef’s Kitchen – A Food Lover’s Dream
If you love to cook or entertain, you're in for a treat. The kitchen was designed by the owner as a private chef, and comes equipped with everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal. From lots of cookware to every kitchen gadget you could need, it’s all here! This space even caught the eye of Bon Appétit magazine, which featured it in a story. Whether you're whipping up breakfast before a day on the slopes or enjoying a cozy family dinner, this kitchen will inspire your inner chef.
Main Floor Layout
• Mudroom: As you enter the home, the mudroom provides plenty of space for your ski gear and winter essentials.
• Living & Dining Areas: Step up into the cozy living room, perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. The dining room leads into the fabulous chef’s kitchen, which flows seamlessly into the family room—a great gathering space for your group.
Upstairs Layout – 4 Bedrooms, Sleeps Up to 12
1. Master Suite:
o King bed, private en-suite bathroom, and a walk-in closet.
o Wake up to views of Solitude’s slopes, whether you’re soaking in the tub or relaxing in bed.
2. Bedroom 2:
o Full bed and a twin bed, ideal for couples or small families.
3. Bedroom 3:
o Two double beds and a small bunk bed set (perfect for kids under 8).
4. Studio Apartment:
o A self-contained studio space with its own kitchen, private bathroom, and living area. This space works perfectly as a second master suite or a private retreat for couples.
5. Bathrooms:
o 1 full bathroom in the hall upstairs.
o 1 half bath conveniently located on the main floor.
o Ensuite master bathroom with Japanese soaking tub and separate shower
o Full deep tub/shower combination
o Ensuite shower room for the studio

Fantastic home one mile from Solitude 3 miles from Brighton. Of particular importance with the storms that arrive the home is a twenty foot driveway off the main road, so you'll never be caught unable to get out especially with Nico coming every morning to snowblow or shovel. Lots of pots and pans and spices, although don't count on everything, stock up at Costco or Walmart.

This is a lovely, rustic home that is in an ideal location for skiing at Solitude. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were overwhelmed by the beauty of the mountains and the area. The house was very well equipped, cozy and comfortable for our group.

Our family of 7 (5 adults, a baby, and a toddler) booked this house as a jumping off place for a spring break ski vacation. The house was spacious and very well appointed. The host was very accessible and communication was flawless.

Sarah thought of everything! She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and it was! The best place to relax while the skiers enjoyed the nearby slopes! The kitchen was well equipped to feed a large family several meals. I would love to return someday!
