The Heat Retreat! A modern 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with a deep pebble pool and spa that sleeps up to 9 in a gated, quiet community. Located 2.5 miles from the Empire Polo Field, it's an easy walk or bike ride to Coachella, Desert Trip, Stage Coach, and the desert festivals. Championship golf courses, restaurants, supermarkets, and attractions are nearby.
The space is a peaceful paradise! This 2,400 square foot vacation home is loaded with amenities and located near the desert festivals, championship golf courses, and restaurants. This is a one of a kind home, beautifully upgraded and finished with professionally appointed decor, granite, and tile work. A fully stocked kitchen, plentiful parking, and private location with no direct neighbors to the left and right makes this a perfect retreat or get-away.
Outdoors: Relax on the large back patio area around the private and heated deep pebble tech pool with cascading spa, flowing water columns, and mountain views. The in-home controller allows you to control all pool and spa functions from inside the house. The patio area also includes a lounge area with firepit, ceiling fan, and BBQ grill. Our Heat Retreat is positioned on a street with no neighbors to the left and right, allowing maximum privacy for entertaining, dining, lounging, and swimming. Enjoy the evening outdoors as the lights come on.
Indoors: The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, a 5-burner gas cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator, and oven. The nook adjoins the kitchen and seats 4. There is bar stool seating at the counter for 2 more people. The cabinets are fully-stocked with plates, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and everything you need to enjoy your meal.
Relax in the family room or living room featuring a DVD player, TV, comfortable sofa, and a cozy fireplace. Or, challenge your friends to a game of chess or other board games! The open floor plan will allow for a variety of activities and ability to entertain your guests.
Bedrooms: The master suite features a king bed, ceiling fan, TV, walk-in closet, and private access to the backyard. The large private bath area has dual sinks and a vanity, a shower, and a soothing tub.
The private casita can be entered from the double door entry through the front courtyard, or from the inside of the house, and features a large bedroom with a King bed, a ceiling fan, and a TV with DVD player. The decor is professionally appointed with plantation shutters and tasteful colors. The bathroom includes a walk-in closet, shower, toilet, and sink.
Bedroom #3 is on the opposite wing of the house and features a queen bed, dresser, and closet. Bedroom #4 has a full bed, dresser, and shares a bathroom with Bedroom #3.

My husband and I recently retired and had been coming to this area for 2-3 weeks during our MN winters for the last 7 years. We were looking for a place we could stay for a longer period of time and that would accept our dog! This turned out to be EXACTLY what we were looking for. Situated in an area with so many restaurants, grocery stores and retail stores just minutes from the house but with the tall privacy walls surrounding the house you felt like you were miles from neighbors. There were 3 large TV's (which we only turned on for the Super Bowl) and a VERY comfy couch in the media room, where i could curl up and read. We had different family members fly out to visit during out 6 weeks and everyone was so pleased with the accommodations. Beds were great in every room and having 2 owners suites was just a lovely bonus for our guests. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need for our extended stay. And we really appreciated the 2 tubs of pool towels!! The pool and hot tub had to be our favorite part of the house. I swam laps for an hour every single morning we were there, while my husband would take our dog on a hike up The Cross and then come back to soak in the hot tub. Needless to say, we loved our time here and have already booked for 2 months next year.

Nice to have a well-loved family vacation home to stay away from nasty Midwest winter weather. Lovely interior, well kept pool and spa which we enjoyed immensely. We had everything we needed to make our own meals, along with nice restaurants nearby. Close enough to Palm Springs for day trips to go shopping, hiking and jeep tours.

We had a wonderful stay during the month of March. This home is well-located in a quiet, gated neighborhood that is conveniently located to many golf courses, Old Town La Quinta and any other shopping we needed. The owners take the time to make sure that everything is in good working order and we found it had everything we needed. The kitchen is well-equipped and the furnishings, beds and linens are very comfortable. The layout of the home was perfect when our two adult children and their families came for a visit with one family staying in the casita with bathroom and the other in a wing of the house that has two bedrooms and a bathroom. We all watched March Madness in the cozy TV room. The backyard with lovely pool, spa and covered lounging area is where we spent most of our time. The fire pit table was fun to sit around at night or to have coffee in the morning if there was a chill. There is also a unique covered swing that was very popular for lounging and reading. We brought our dog and the private, fenced yard felt safe for him plus there are many open green areas in the neighborhood to play in. This was our third year to stay in the Palm Springs area and this was by far our best experience renting a home.

We stayed here in February 2016 and are booking for next year as well. The house was clean and stocked with all most anything you'd need. The owners were very responsive to anything we needed or had questions about. The location was perfect for us. The back yard and pool are very nice.
