La Varchiceddra is located in one of the most enchanting places in Salento: Funnuvojere, in the Corsano marina (a village of 5000 inhabitants, characterized by sympathy, kindness and good humor).
The sea, a few steps from the house, is very clean because it is limited by a low rock and not by sand, it offers the opportunity to observe and admire the magnificent seabed inhabited by fish, octopus, hedgehogs and has easy access.
The place is not very crowded and thanks to this the coast is clean and there is always a place to lie in the sun and listen to the breaking waves.
Funnuvojere is also the right place for long walks since it boasts the presence of numerous paths used by our ancestors to go from the sea to the village when there were no roads yet.
Corsano is equipped with banks, post offices, supermarkets, ice cream shops, pizzerias, pastry shops, clothing stores, medical guards etc. The hospital is 10km away. In addition, during the summer, there are various events, parties and festivals that allow tourists and non-tourists to have fun, eat typical specialties and listen to good music.
The house, which is located in the middle of nature and quiet, is composed of: a dining room with built-in kitchen, a room with two single beds, one with a double bed and a bathroom with shower. Each bedroom is equipped with bedside tables, lamps and wardrobes, in the dining room there is a refrigerator, glass cabinet and TV. Outside there are barbecue, shower, huge olive tree / gazebo, special deck chairs and parking for the car.
It is continually renewed to always offer the best to renters: it boasts details specially designed for the well-being of those who experience it.
Its strengths are manifold, but above all we boast of some details that are fundamental for us: the only noises you can hear are the chirping of birds, the singing of crickets and the breaking of the waves on the cliff; the shows you can see are the sun coming out or disappearing behind the water at sunrise and sunset, the sails, the fishermen or the ships that cross the sea and the billions of stars that are clearly visible thanks to the missing light pollution every evening .
This house is perfect for those looking for calm, beauty, simplicity and uniqueness.

We had a great time at this beautiful house by the sea. Super spacious (much bigger than pictures suggest), super clean and the host is just so lovely and helpful! The shower was the best we had in all of Italy!
Note that the house is semi-detached and the terrace of the other guests are just on the other side of the fence, but since only nature lovers book this place its mostly very quiet.
The sea is a 2 min walk and if the sea is a bit rough and you can't get into the water, sandy beaches are just a 20 min drive away. But if the weather is calm, it’s a perfect spot for snorkeling and swimming.

We had a wonderfull week at the Varchiceddra. A beautifull view, the nature, the silence, a lovely convenient home, it was great.

This place is great for people, who love being outdoors. We spent most of our time on patio admiring the beautiful view of the Adriatic Sea & shooting stars at night.
The inside of the apartment is a practical design to meet daily needs. It was very clean & equipped with basic kitchen utensils.
We did pay the extra linen fee & found the quality of the sheets and towels to be very good.
The mattress is extra firm. If you are a person that suffers with back, hips & joint pain this might not be the mattress for you.
Our gracious host provided a delicious bottle of local Wine & local pastries, that gave a welcoming touch of class. Yum!!
We really enjoyed our visit & would do again.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Das Haus befindet sich an einem wunderschönen Ort, ist blitzsauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und verfügt über eine traumhafte Terrasse mit herrlichem Meerblick. Die Vermieter sind sehr aufmerksam, haben uns mit einer Flasche Wein und apulischem Gebäck begrüßt, Ihre sehr nette Tochter Annalucia hat uns in Empfang genommen, zum Haus geführt und uns sogar noch zum Abschied ein kleines Geschenk überreicht. Besser kann man sich nicht willkommen fühlen und wir können jedem Paar und jeder Familie, die sich in schönster und ruhiger Umgebung erholen möchten, diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Nochmals unser herzlichster Dank an die Vermieterfamilie von Thomas und Iris
