Casa Ilusion is the most beautiful beachside villa on the north end of Sayulita. Come relax in our serene indoor / outdoor palapa poolside living. Bring another friend or 2 – we’ve added another bedroom suite plus a tv/games/kids' room. Now, even more perfect for families and friends!
Casa Ilusion is a unique, luxury private beachfront home. Located on just under an acre of land with towering palm trees and 120 feet of beachfront. Ideally located on the quiet north side beach, The villa is a short walk to the town center. No car is necessary – restaurants, cafes and lovely Sayulita shopping are within an easy 5 minute stroll.
As soon as you enter Casa Ilusion, you will see through the beautifully appointed main house to the professionally landscaped, tranquil grounds & spacious lawn lush with magnificent palms to the ocean beyond. Relax under a palapa, umbrella, or in a hammock by the ocean, with the sounds of the waves and the sea breeze. Carry your board 200 yards up the beach to surf the left or right, or walk down the beach to dinner.
Casa Ilusion’s main house and casita are ideal for 5 couples. The five spacious, air conditioned suites, each with an ocean view, offer the highest level of comfort with luxury Frette bedding on king beds, all complete with their own en suite bathrooms. The new separate TV/games room can be converted to 2 twin beds for accommodating 2 children (kids only please!). This room is next to our first floor bedroom and can be configured as a family suite as needed.
In addition to the main house comfortably sleeping 8 adults + 2 children itself, there is a beautiful beachfront Casita, just steps from the ocean, which comfortably sleeps 3 (King + Single bed). The Casita is air conditioned 600 square feet - a real "Honeymoon Casita" suite with full bath, and a beautiful, open palapa style ceiling.
In all, Casa Ilusion has beds for 10 adults and 3 children. We also can provide 2 cribs and highchairs.
The main living space comes equipped with all of the amenities you could need; flat screen HD TV & satellite cable & Wi-Fi connection is accessible throughout the house and the grounds. Please note that the wifi can not support multiple zoom meetings at once, but is fast enough for general surfing and email. Thank you.
Casa Ilusion features its own private beach area with palm trees situated atop a five-foot seawall so you can either lie in the sun at water's edge on the wide public beach, or find some shade to take a nap in a hammock on our own private beach frontage. This feature is unique to Casa Ilusion.
Daily Cleaning Service is included six days per week (not Sunday).
We are happy to assist you with arrangements for Airport Transportation, Private Chef, In-House Masseuse, Private Surf Lessons, Private Yoga & Salsa Lessons, Catamaran Tours, Golf Car rentals, Dinning Reservations and anything else you can think of!

Fantastic location, one of the best villas on the beach. Great bedroom layout, 5 "real" bedrooms with king beds and privacy for my family of 10.Would go back, no hesitation.

Fantastic property, close to town, beautiful beach view and access from the house. The host was very accommodating for our group with kids and babies. Theo, the house manager was on top of it, made sure we were all comfortable. Food and chef was delicious. The property and grounds were well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and will be back! My family of 13 stayed at Casa Illusion for a week and we all loved it. From the moment we arrived, it was more than we expected. Theo met us and took us on a tour, from the main rooms, to the bedrooms, to the beach. My 3 young grandkids immediately got in the pool. We arrived at nite so we were amazed that it was even more beautiful in the morning. The beach is a short walk through the yard and was pretty private the beginning of our stay. Had a few more people throughout the holiday weekend and even had two proposals taking place. We spent hours at the beach, watching the most beautiful sunsets every evening. We walked to town every day, an easy distance, although we did rent a golf cart that everyone enjoyed. There is a coffee shop right out the front door and a wonderful restaurant nearby. I think I speak for our entire group, ages 4 to 76 when I say We can’t wait to return. Nancy, the housekeeper, kept everything clean, which was no small feat. She also took our wonderful family photos.Theo was always available to help, especially when we extended our stay a day due to a changed flight. The owner was prompt and helpful when we changed the dates of our stay a few times. Two things we would mention. The lighting along the walkway to the casita and the beach could use a bit more lighting and both my sons love to cook, so an outdoor kitchen would be a wonderful addition.Overall I would give 6 stars if I could. Beautiful property / grounds and great location.
Sayulita was and I believe still is experiencing bacteria caused by a break in a sewage line that goes out into the Pacific....as I was told. There were 8 in our group, 7 became very ill. The same was occurring at other vacation home and hotels in Sayulita.
I put it on my been there done that list.
