The Recker House offers a fully furnished five bedroom, 2.25 bathrooms guest house in Alta Vista, IA, a small town in northeast Iowa for short term rentals by the day, week or month. This property is a great place to host family gatherings, especially in conjunction with a second guesthouse, Grandma Z's, located directly across the street.

With five bedrooms (all with queen sized beds) and two full bathrooms plus an extra shower in one bedroom, your family will be comfortable while all under one roof.
A large living room on the main level opens to both the dining area and the kitchen. The lower level also has a large family room, dining area and kitchen with full sized appliances. The open space on the main floor allows for easy visiting with family members and accommodates a large group.
The main floor bathroom has a tub and shower combination and a stacked front load washer and dryer. A second front load washing set is located on the lower level. The lower level bathroom is equipped with a shower.
A covered patio with patio furniture, charcoal grill (guests provide charcoal and lighter) is located off of the garage.

Plenty of room for adults and kids! We’ve rented this property several times when family or friends are in town.

The girls and I had lots of fun on our stay.The house was clean and comfy, with plenty of rooms for us to sleep in.Other than the unwanted chirping guest and having nothing to start the grill with...all was well.If you are grilling....she tells you to bring your own charcoal. But you need to also bring something to start the fire and grilling utensils.
