Oceanfront house with private hot tub & amazing ocean views

The house was big enough that the kids could play and the adults still could visit

The house is in a great location. It could use a deep cleaning and some upgrades, but for the price and size, it was well worth it.

The was not clean!!! Cobwebs in the corners of every room that WE had to clean. Found mouse poop in the room on the main floor. Why did we have to even pay a cleaning fee??? The back door didn’t lock which made sleeping every night feel very uneasy and unsafe, especially when it was a house full of woman. Lights outside in the back didn’t work. Lights in the bedrooms flickered the entire time. Pots and pans were in terrible shape and were peeling. Stains on the furniture and comforter covers. Stained pillows. House is in a great location but needs so much updating. Hot tub was good. Great view. Good neighborhood.

While the home had a couple of small issues (very small) on a whole it was a wonderful stay! Very comfortable and such an awesome view! We are most definitely going to book mark this property for a future visit.

House has great views of the ocean and lots of windows to see it from. Easy beach access. Hot tub was fun to sit in and enjoy the sunsets. Lots of space for people to spread out in. The inside is a little tired, but was clean. We enjoyed our stay here.

Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped and very family friendly. We brought 8 kids and 2 of them toddlers, it was easy to move a few decorations and the toddlers were safe and easy to maintain in this space. Shower heads could use some improving but with 3 showers, it wasn’t a big deal. Hot tub took the first night to warm up, I wish it had been at temperature to enjoy when we arrived. Overall a really great house.

After I had already booked this rental I read some of the reviews. Most were very negative and I was seriously thinking of cancelling. We had plenty of room for all our 12 family members with plenty of activities for everyone. This rental was clean but it could use some sprucing up and a little TLC.

The house location and set up were wonderful; however, there is a leak in the ceiling of the primary bedroom ceiling that dripped when it rained and has mold developing. The upstairs windows wouldn’t close and almost blew off during a wind storm. We were able to use a string to pull them closed because there were no handles. The table in the kitchen was dirty and the blankets on the bed seemed dirty as well

This is a fantastic house, but allowed to fall into disrepair. Operating status of advertised amenities (i.e. televisions, etc.) is clearly not checked between guests. The end of Summer deep clean mentioned in prior reviews has not happened yet. Pillow and bedding upstairs was soiled (blood), kitchen floor was sticky with food & debris along walls and cabinets, food and debris inside kitchen cabinets, main air vent in living room covered in black grime, nightstand upstairs sticky with residue and hair, dust and cobwebs on cabinets and high windows, black moldy buildup on several windows (inside), dust was thick on fireplace mantle and living room furniture. Bunk bed needs new mattresses (badly), upper bunk bed rail and ladder rungs loose, toaster needs replacement, patio door could not be locked, front door (beyond mudroom) had no lock and would not shut completely, rug in living room on hardwood floor had no grip pad (slipping hazard for the elderly guests we had), TV remotes had dead batteries or barely functioned, upstairs TV connected to Wii only, garage door would not open, most windows have missing/broken cranks and do not open, when looking for cables to hook up the DVD, found 3 wires coming out of the wall with the plugs cut off (scary). Vacasa responded timely and sent out a very helpful and friendly maintenance man to replace burnt and broken patio lights. And Vacasa (housekeeping?) offered to come wipe things down when we arrived and complained about cleaning (we declined, felt it had been paid for and should have been done before we arrived).

We loved the room and the views. The cleaning was not up-to-date par. We should have gotten half our fee back! Table was filthy, toilets dirty, windows mildewed. Carpet filthy. Windows wouldn't open upstairs, we stayed at the same house for three years and they kept saying that the windows would be fixed. Also one of the down stairs showers didn't work ( hose split). No instructions in the house (when garbage goes out, etc)

The property has a lovely ocean view. Its accommodations were described accurately. There were however several dirty and broken items. A deep cleaning is needed as the return air vents are filthy and the upstairs windows are so dirty you cannot see the ocean through them. The back door does not lock, some window cranks are broken. The light on the house directed to shine on the hot tub does not work. The master bedroom bedside lamp is broken. We enjoy cooking so the kitchen lacked tools and pans I consider basic. There was not enough silverware for more than 2 meals, so we ran the dishwasher more than once a day resulting in not having enough dishwasher pods as we were only provided 4 I assume based upon the number of days we stayed. Being with friends we don't see regularly we enjoyed ourselves but were a bit disappointed due to the above problems.

The house is big and roomy for large group. We enjoyed our time. Hot tub was great! Nice walk to the beach. Windows need work for easier closing and opening, door lock on back door needs to work, and floor is soft in places.

The house was beautiful and clean.We were able to watch whales from the deck. My family and I will definitely go through Vacasa again

We really enjoyed the view every morning. The pool table was a hit for the teenagers. Location was great. I love how the house had things for the beach such as sand buckets, chairs, etc. Then to sum things up with a hot soak in the hot tub made the trip relaxing. Chinook winds casino and golf course is right down the road.

Stayed at this rental three nights to celebrate 🍾 a 50th birthday with our family. House is spacious and entertaining with the hot tub, pool table, Foosball table and WII. We noticed a super soft spot in the floor right as you come in through the garage man door, be careful it seems rotten in that spot. Also the upstairs toilet wouldn't flush, the chain inside the tank was broken. Sent a message but haven't seen a response but I was not checking often as we were enjoying Lincoln city. Property is close to the casino and walking distance to the beach, it snowed when we were there which was beautiful! Overall not bad place to stay if you need room for a group but take small cars as the parking is limited. The driveway is smaller than it looks and there's no street parking.

Location and and view were great as described! There were bedrooms on the bottom floor which was the necessity for us. Love the pool table. The kitchen has no extras, house has very few towels even though people have already complained about that, and upstairs toilet flusher did not work, some lightbulbs and fixtures didn’t work. Hot tub was large but filmy. In summary The owners would do well to make their house more cozy and inviting for guests. It feels like you get the bare minimum. But it is a bare minimum with an amazing view!

It was a great stay. Would do it again

This house has a great location and great space. On the inside it needs a lot of help. The beds are horrible. Not only Uncomfortable, but the bedding was itchy and old. Two bedrooms upstairs had double beds, not great for couples! The other furniture looked like it came from Goodwill. The dishwasher didn't work so we had to hand wash them. Overall, a disappointment.

Nice spacious home with easy beach access

You can't beat oceanfront.... The home accommodated our family perfectly.

First, I do want to start by saying this house is a beautiful one!! It was spacious with a nice layout and lots of gorgeous big windows for light!! There were more than enough towels to last us the week and the kitchen dish soap and dishwasher soap were plentiful!! There were some little things that could use some attention. Those big windows for light... don't open. There were only a few small windows that open and of those few only 3 actually opened. The others had turn knobs that were broken and/or couldn't even be pushed open. We visited in an unusually warm time so we really needed the windows opened for air but I am also the type that if I'm next to the ocean I want to HEAR those awesome waves and it wasn't possible inside due to the window situation. Another thing was the air conditioner was not great at all. Again, we went during an especially warm time but it was evident that the house was either too big for the air conditioner or the air conditioner was too old. The pool table was fun but it's definitely quite used up. It's uneven a bit and one of the pocket holes has a leather border that is coming apart and interferes with the opening. If any of us were aiming for that hole someone else would have to hold that piece to the side. There were enough pool sticks but also had uneven tips on them. These were no huge deal to us but just wanted to let anybody know to be prepared in case your family or friends are competitive!! Haha!! There are amazing berry bushes outside that were great for a few yummy berries each morning... but the bushes were so overgrown that we only had a small view of the ocean. There were also tons of thorns all over the yard from the bushes that made walking around a sort of maze of trying not to get poked. There were however 2 nice wooden benches to sit on in the yard and look at the ocean but 1 bench view was blocked by the bushes and the other you just had to be mindful of the thorns. The hot tub was nice!! It had only a small view of the ocean (due to the berry bushes and being a little further back) but it was enough of a view. It did keep losing heat.. but we did call on this as the hot tub was a huge part of us renting this home and they did send a guy to fix it right away and it was all good afterward...apparently it was accidently put on rest mode (unknown who did that?) Overall again this house was very nice!! Very well stocked with towels (lasted us a whole week) and lots of space. There were no extra rolls of toilet paper but we buy our own anyway and there was no soap for laundry either if you need that.

This was a great house for a large group. Was very clean and orderly. Only downsides was the dishwasher was broken which was an inconvenience with a large group. Also some of the windows and blinds don't work which was also frustrating wanting to open to hear the ocean. They had plenty of beds and towels for the group which is always a plus but some things that needed fixing/repairs. Seemed on the costly side for having so many repairs needed.

This house was in a really great spot and you can't beat the views. The house was clean, but the furniture was in pretty bad shape, dishwasher didn't work and beds were in rough shape.

This house was located in an awesome spot with a beautiful view out the windows! Parking was difficult as the garage is made for small cars, and the lot next door is under construction.

Stayed here with a few friends to celebrate my birthday. Amazing view and great amenities. Close to many stores and the casino. Wonderful experience.

Great location. Lots of room for everyone

This home is on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The hot tub is outside in front of the house so it was used several times in our two night visit during the high winds, “snow” flakes, and rain. This was a highlight for our group. Also enjoyed the pool table (couldn’t find chalk). Access to the beach is about 4-5 house walk south and down a trail. The house was very comfortable for our group and had nice supplies to cook up some meals.

We have stayed at this house for 3 xmases. This year doubledin price and bbq was rusted so didn't work, fire place smoked whole house up couldn't use no batteries in controllers and wii controllers, also no chalk for pool sticks and cues were missing tips. If you advertises these items u should keep them updated. Won't be back.

We arrived and the heat was locked and no one knew how to fix. Management tried there best and got it unlocked next day and did compensate. Hot tub was very dirty and luckily when maintenance came to unlock heat we asked him and he had some chemicals in his truck. Then we cleaned it ourselves next day. Hose on back of dryer off so had to fix to use. House needs thorough cleaning corners on floor are dirty, vents dirty etc. Beds all need new mattresses. Views are fabulous. Management was very attentive and helpful with our issues. Some tender loving care and would get all fives.

The view was amazing! Loved being right on the ocean and a short walk to get on to the beach. The house was just as other reviewers have described. Dirty, including dishes and towels. We had to wash anything we wanted to use. The beds were ok at best. Mostly it’s a decent house that was filled from a thrift store run. Kitchen still had just one towel as others mentioned and that was a bathroom towel. Kitchen is not very well equipped at all. Living room was nice for the view, couch again, old and worn down. I agree with previous reviewer, just throw the pillows away. The blinds are broken so that takes away from the view. We tied them up to get them out of the way. The windows were dirty which is the most important to a house on the ocean. The space was good for our group of 9. The hot tub was nice, especially overlooking the ocean. The sunset was perfect. So great to just sit in the backyard and watch. My kids loved the pool table, pretty much all their indoor time they played pool which got them off their phones and they enjoyed wii sport. Overall it will not be our top choice if we are looking in this area again but it was still a good trip and we had a great time. Our family is good at making do and if this is the house that’s in your budget then you can make good memories here. You just can’t be picky. I read the reviews and knew what we were getting and went with it. I like to know ahead of time what to expect before I get there so I can have my expectations at the right level. If you don’t mind doing a little cleaning yourself then the location, the view and size of the house make it worth it.
