The private gated oasis boasts endless beauty, charm, and comfort complete with custom artisan furniture and drapery, high-quality bedding and linens, plus a wonderful 3 bed/3bath floorplan. Enjoy a large “chef’s kitchen” or grill outside taking in the magnificent scenery. Swim in the sparkling pool, soak in the spa, or simply nap on the outdoor sofa beneath the glorious mountains. Hacienda Montezuma is the ultimate escape from daily life.

This home sits just a mile-and-a-half from Old Town La Quinta's many restaurants, boutique shops, and all-ages entertainment. Visit the La Quinta Museum to learn some local history or head over to the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens for a day of family fun, just 11 miles away. If your visit coincides with the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival or the Stagecoach Festival, this rental is only six miles from the Empire Polo Grounds.

THINGS TO KNOW
Please note the city of La Quinta has a vacation rental ordinance requiring a minimum of one occupant to be at least 21 years old. This person will be responsible for ensuring all applicable laws and rules are followed by the group of renters.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
1 day notification is required in order to heat the pool and pool spa. A fee of USD 99 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool and pool spa heat for your stay.
Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The most bizarre part of this rental is dealing with Vacasa - the property manager. They appear to be using AI to answer text inquiries so you get incorrect and strange answers to questions. And they provide conflicting and missing information regarding check-in and check-out.

We loved the property. The management company was very responsive. There is access to hiking everywhere. My only complaint is it is a bit of drive to Palm Springs and because we took a short vacation we couldn’t explore that area as much as I would have liked. But, that’s on us! Will have to go back again.

The home was nice with desert feel. However, the pool and spa were not open to use. The property management company vakaska were very demanding and difficult to deal with. We booked our stay on short notice and paid upfront. Still I was getting multiple calls and requests to verify my identity and check in. At one point they were saying I needed to check in 22 miles away from the property. When we said we couldn't do that, it was a lot of calls to do the virtual check in. The code did not work as promis d and we had to call again for another code. On the day of the checkout I was getting text messages hours ahead of time rushing us out. The home is alright but all these inefficient extra steps were not needed and created stress while we are on vacation. Also they would have charged 100 a night to get the pool heated but again since we booked late it was not even an option. Obviously if you rent the home for the outdoor amenities this didn't make sense. Appreciat the due diligence but not necessary and wrong attitude for families renting out for 2 nights who already paid all and sent in all verifications. We booked through VRBO but don't know how this separate property management company came into play.
